A new one in the garage

I think our Turbo coupe recently had a baby:

Seriously, we bought this SVO in Spokane Valley Washington and drove it to Arizona last week to be parked in the garage beside its Papa:

Sorry about the clickable urls. Since photobucket sucked all of my pics down the tube I have no idea how to upload pics direct to a post??

pic in link says "84".  I have always liked those.  I came really close to buying an 86, then an 85 1/2 several years ago, but each of them were too much of a project or were beat nearly to death.  I ended up buying an 88 TC instead.

Thanks, it's an early 84 with the slapper bars instead of quad shocks.

We were actually looking for an 85.5 or 86 also, but after checking out a few of them over the past few years we almost had decided that we probably wouldn't find a nice SVO in our price range.
Another thing that surprised me was that none of them ran as good as the 84 that we sold a few years ago. I really was surprised  because of the extra 25 to 30 hp rating on them.
Then while on vacation last May we found this early 84 that is almost exactly like our first one, except it has the sunroof.

I never clicked the link, sorry.  Looks really good, I love the red rock.  Weve made many offroad trips out to the Moab / Canyonlands area, really pretty.
