i have a question bout shipping oversized items. Im looking into buying rocker panels for my 90 XR7 and i found a pair for $106. But now im curious on shipping. They each weigh 7 lbs but they are long. What would a average shipping cost for these be?
I have a quick question to ask yall. My gm engine the lovely 3.1L is got a ticking on the back side of the motor and sometimes smokes and it sounds like its missing on the exhaust sroke. Now my question is what can cause these symptoms? Its just something that has been bugging me since i bought the car but never has gotten any better nor worse. So what do yall think?
Hey everyone.. I'm wanting to buy a BHJ (steel) harmonic balancer for my 1990 Cougar XR7 3.8 SC.. If anyone has one for sale or knows where I might find one please let me know =) I 've already looked on the Sccoa website..
I've already had to replace the balancer twice and have only had this car for a few months now.. So, if anyone has any suggestions about what might be causeing this, let me know.. I think it might be b/c I was buying the used cast ones but I dunno. Thanks.
i need a few parts to fix my xr7. i need the harmonic ballencer and the crank pully with all the bolts. this is for the 3.8 sc. and if it does break again then a 5.0 will go in. so let me know if anyone has any. Thanks john
ive hunted for a few days over the internet and havent found what im looking for. im wondering is there a web site where i can look up recalls for my car? im not starting to wonder if braking the harmonic ballencer was recalled or not. but any help would be appreciated.
the title speaks for itself. im looking for replacement panels for my 90 xr7. the rockers have little rust on em and i want to cut it out and replace it with new panels. ive looked on jc whetney (sp) but no luck. i know i could go with keystone but there pricey. if anyone knows anywhere elts i can check it would be nice. ive done a serch for some mn12 info and came up with nothing so maybe im hoping someone here has a awnser to my question. I am currently replacing a water pump on my 1990 cougar xr7 3.8SC and it looked like i had to pull the whole alt bracket but i removed the bolts and it still is in place. Im wondering if any one has a manual on how to do the waterpump replacement on one of these engines. Im new to the SC motors so any help would be appreciated Thanks guys!
as the title says. Its actually gonna cost me alot more to fix the 84 then its gonna cost to buy another cougar. So what im looking for is a 83-88 cougar in pa ny or oh. Little to no rust any price right now will do. if any one has one for sale let me know. since my current deal fell through. so the cash that was going to go for that car is now gonna go to one of you on here for a cougar.But let me know what everyone has. Ok i have a question about the differences in pullys from the 3.8 supercharged and the 3.8 na. Im wondering if the crank pully and the water pump pully are the same between the engines.

Just like the title says i have a 86 elan sitting here that i stripped so basically there is some of the interior for sale also windows other than that the rest was shot and junk. Basically the pass side strut tower rotted out. But the car won't be around for long so speak up quick post or call my cell... 570-605-0213
