Walbro fuel pump question....

I've got a Walbro 255 lph fuel pump. I was looking at it the other day and thought something looked different but couldn't put my finger on it. Then I realized that the hole on the bottom that the screen snaps on to was smaller than my current and last pump. Is that an issue? It's like this one....
