Nothing was ever mentioned about $500 for the wheels! The buyer of my TurboCoupe is $500 short of cash in his offer to buy the CAR, so he's willing to take the Mustang 10-hole wheels with almost new Mastercraft tires with the car & leave me the original wheels/tires to sell. I figured to the right person, maybe an buttstuff retentive collector?, I might be able to get at least $200-300 dollars for them, so I could knock $200 off my bottom-dollar price to make the deal work.
Without seeing them, it's impossible to say. You're basically just pricing the wheels since the tires will need replaced given their age. Sure, someone could use them, but. . . . You wouldn't use a rubber past it's expiration date would you?
No, actually, the tires will be worth as much or more than the wheels! Looking for someone who's showing their '85 or '86 TurboCoupe and the only thing it needs is a mint condition set of factory original wheels AND the FACTORY CORRECT GOODYEAR GATORBACKS mounted on them.
OK, I have a guy wanting to buy my mint condition '85 TurboCoupe, and we're about $500 apart in pricing.:mad:
What I'm trying to find out is what the original mint condition TC wheels/caps with approx. 10 year old Goodyear Gatorbacks mounted on them would be worth?! The Gatorbacks are in very good condition, and have about 75% tread left.
Any opinions would be appreciated. Heck, any actual offers would be GREATLY appreciated!!!:)
OK, it's just about spring and most folks should be getting their tax refunds!
