Light Switch Diagrams

Does anyone have diagrams showing what all the pins on the light switch connectors are for? I'm trying to wire up a new harness.

Here are some pics of the connectors i'm talking about..

Thanks!

Thanks! That's just what I needed. Although i'm sill confused about which wires on this new harness go where, mabye I can't even use the original switches.... Hmmm.. :dunno:

The manual for the fuse block lists the following connections

-------------------------------
6 HEADLIGHT SWITCH HARNESS
-------------------------------
RED - BATTERY FEED
LT BLUE - DIMMER SWITCH

---------------------------
7 DIMMER SWITCH HARNESS
---------------------------
LT GREEN - HIGH BEAM
TAN - LOW BEAM
LT BLUE - POWER FROM HEADLIGHT SWITCH

Hopefully someone here has tried to do this (installed a new universal harness) and can offer some advice.

Thanks!

That's very helpful, I might actually be able to figure this out now..

And can anyone scan the pages 238 & 239 from the EVTM? I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks again.

actually page 28 and 29 also.

i have a scanner,, if no one jumps on this for you then tomorrow while im job shopping ill load up the sw and see if i can post it.

I wouldnt mind scanning the whole book, there aint but 257 pages of nothing but pictures / diagrams in the 87 evtm.

it would be nice to have on here anyway but i think thats been thought about and rejected for some technical reasons im not aware of.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
