anyone know of a site for craown victorias

like the title sais, i need info on a site for crown vickys like this site.  i've tryed http://www.crownvic.com  but it keeps locking-up, and all the people at that site turn all their cars into cop cars. i'm  trying to find something more about restoration maybe some light modding.  one thing i'd like to do is get my hands on one of those intercepters that they have in half of their cars!!!!

Here's two sites:

http://www.crownvic.net - Good for tech info, but there is quite a bit of bitching, you'll be told to use the search feature, and for pete's sake, stay out of the "Smokin' Lizard Lounge"

http://www.grandmarq.net - Also very good for tech, more laid back atmosphere.  Was created by a former member of CVN (above) who was banned.

All in all, both good sites.  CVN will tell you to use the search feature, delete your threads if they don't like you, etc.  GMN is much more laid back, they'll be happy to answer your questions.  Scott, in particular, really knows his stuff.  GMN has more members of boxes (79-91 cars) than the 92-present, but they'll have tech for you either way.

A side note, aside from the 351's that were installed in some '91 and earlier cars, there is no special police engine to which you are referring.  The "interceptor package" as mentioned in another thread here cosists of suspension upgrades and a vinyl and cloth interior.

thanks for the info. crownvic.net is what i ment to say above yeah they're a little uptight alright!!! :shoothead i tried to ask a simple question about headliners and all i got were responces about my grammer and punctuation and not using cappitol letters. not one of the a**holes:asshole: :moon:  answered my question, and to add insult to injury they decided to erase my question. about the interceptors, a bunch of the guys there were bragging about those and then they had under the hood pics. i just assumed they were refering to the engine. but i'll check out the mercury site and see if thier a little more nicer. thanks

As of lately the merc site has had some sort of trolls coming in, but you should still recieve a reply from the one guy there.  Scott's his name, he has a town car that he races.  A real good guy.
