Title: '85 TBird Front Parking Light Replacement
Post by: BradMph on February 25, 2015, 02:46:53 PM
I picked up a couple brand new front parking light/turn signal fixtures for almost nothing. I figured an easy 5 minute job, but these things are trapped behind the bumper, lol. Please say I don't have to remove the bumper to replace these things.

It's not just the lense, it is the entire thing

I don't have to remove the bumper to replace these things.  OK I said it. :hick:

Pretty sure there is a access hole and cover on the back of the metal bumper behind the cover.

There is a metal bracket bolted to the metal of the bumper that holds the turn signal housing. Four bolts and it's out. Pretty straightforward.

Ok, well I guess I will have to crawl under the car then. Might as well do the trany kit and fuel lines while I have the car in the air.  Thanks for info again guys.

It is the panel you see behind the wiring that has the light socket in the upper left corner.  This is the passenger side on my '83 looking from inside the wheel well to the front of the car.
