new radiator research

I'm using a stock radiator out of a 87 v-6 cougar. I couldn't see any differences between it and the 2 core mustang one I bought from autozone for $90 two or three years ago.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

well i fixed the radiator myself. there was a slight crack at the neck of the top hose connection. soldered  it. time will tell if it lasts. the rest of the rad is good. no rotting and the tubes inside are clean  so solder it. i think its about  7 years old :)
