1983 Battery

Anyone know for sure what Motorcraft batteries were used in 1983? From research a BX63 was claimed to be used in 1984 but can't find anything definitive for 1983.

From memory I think my car had a white case, black top battery when I bought it in 1983.

Of course I didn't take any engine bay pictures with the original battery or save the battery when it died!

Just get a modern Motorcraft replacement battery. As long as it's a factory replacement (i.e. a modern replacement Motorcraft battery or a FL-1A oil filter) organizations like the VTCI aren't going to knock off any judging points.
