I have a 88 sport and am thinking about going to 8.8. Someone suggested that I use a turbo rear I plan on keeping drums so they suggested that I just switch the drums off my car onto the t-bird rear.Has any one done this or is it even possible. Now from the sticky I find that to keep the drums you must use mustang axles which are 1 inch shorter.
Is doing this worth the hassle or should i just go with a mustang rear with drum brakes. Now If I choose to do that will I have a problem with running my 17x9 cobra rs with 275-45 tires with the 1 inch difference. all comments will be appreciated

ive got a built aod with about 600 miles on it. suitland trans gave it a year unlimited mile warranty and used all high performance clutches and shift kit. Said is capable of handling 350 comes with b&m z-gate shifter. asking $150 or will take trade for body kit or rear wing

Im putting in a rebuilt 308 shorblock with ported stock heads,1.7 rockers, e303, cobra intake, 65 mm tb. in addition to everything in my sig. what should I expect to run and possible hp and tq numbers
1st ? Which one yields more power a aftermarket cobra intake upper and lower or the typhoon performer plus. also would a 70mm tb cause any problems since im runnin a speed density set up.
after gettin my enigne intsalled. i noticed that my oil and temp gauge dont work. the other two are fine. what is it and where is it that he forgot to hook up when my mechanic replaced the motor?
