Disappointing day at the track:(

Well FINALLY got to do a few 1/8 mile passes this weekend. Man did it suck.

I can do a 300 foot burnout, but I can't run an eighth mile worth . I couldn't build any boost or even foot brake the cougar at all, even with the proportioning valve turned all the way up, I couldn't build boost at the start. The car would spin a little off the line and then die, only to take forever to spool the T76. 2.45 second 60 ft time was all I could muster. 10.049 in the eighth at 78 miles per hour was my best time, keep in mind the car was running Low 11second eight mile passes before the turbo. The first pass I spun nearly the entire track, second pass got the 10.049 time, third pass the car started breaking up, found a broken plug wire to be the culprit. Changed the wires didn't bother going back for Sunday. I am not even gonna bother racing again until I get a bigger stall converter and trans brake valvebody.

Does your car still have the stock 5.0 SO in it?

I never had a supercharger on the car, that is another members car. Yeah it is a stock so motor right now, I am getting 400ish horse to wheels when it decides to spool, but that is a challenge at the best of times. It doesn't really wake up until 4500 rpm in third. By that time I am already across the finish. I'll be better setup for next year.

Not to be a butt but I seriously doubt that, my supercharged Marauder with 10 psi has 430Hp at the rear wheels & a pair of 4.6 4v heads flow probably as much as four E6 heads...

Somehow I was confused on the supercharger to turbo, sorry bout that...

I am run 19-20psi right now with a big ass turbo. 392hp on the dyno. That is not really all that much. My 347 stroker made more naturally aspirated.

I am hoping for 460ish with heads!
