T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars FOR SALE / looking to sell my 1988 turbo coupe not sure how much to ask
it has 107k orginal miles on a/c is cold and stil has orginal r12 in it car has new paint, half life on the tires car is fully loaded all but leather, it is the light gold color both power seats electronic climate control the whole nine yards the car is for sale but here is the kicker, it has never been wrecked but echecked shows a salvage title everything else is a pass and this from a branch messing up the passenger front fender back in 2000 during a storm also had to replace the hood did not damge the scoops they were resuable and the part the fender bolts to was not even bent, car is located in north carolina im asking 3500 nada is 5600 middle retail and 3050 low retail the car is clean let me know what you guys think any questions just ask

Electrical Tech / Swapping to a sport cluster????
I've got and 86 with the base digital cluster so the gauges a mechanical in it, so what has to be done for this to work or is it plug in and go I know the oil sending unit is different but anything else like wiring

T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars FOR SALE / 31 spine turbo coupe axles and a brand new 31 cobra diff
these axles have less than 10,000 miles the only reason for swapping is because i went to 5 lug, they are made by moser  and the diff is a brand new cobra diff with carbon fiber clutches and the heavy duty s spring bran new in the box 340 plus shipping takes the combo deal considering the cobra heavy duty diff goes for 275 by its self so my lost is your gain, the axles cost me over 300 by them selfs

T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars FOR SALE / turboupe spindales with mustang rotors and new mark 7 calipers and pads
as the title stats the caliper were on the car just over a month cause the old ones had failed so i replaced them it even comes with the new brake lines one was new once i swaped to the new stuff and the other has never been used  so 100 plus shipping takes them, these are turbo coupe spindales oh and it comes with bearings and and there in good working order  you just have to readjust the bearing cause i had to loosen them so i could remove them

these are made by moser they may have 10,000 miles on them max and there in good shape no wear on the bearing surfaces at all these are heavyduty the car has run 10.75 @ 128.3

the only reason ive swaped them is cause i switched to 5 lug so 160 shipped takes them

Suspension/Steering / well i aligned my 86 tbird today with the sn95 spindales
well the camber is still postive but its in the green but still postive i didnt check caster cause i have no adjustments but any way the toe is dead on ive checked and took it back and redone and it still dont go straight it dont pull or anything but ive gotta hold the wheel to the right to go straight any ideas guys or am i gonna have to get camber caster plates from mm any advice wanted

Suspension/Steering / Ok so I got sn95 inner and outter tierods
But I had to cut the inner down by 1/2 inch cause they were a little to long I was gonna run it how it was but inner had play in them so I figured I'd change them out remember I'm installing sn95 spindales also

What u think of me having to cut them?

Suspension/Steering / input on tire sizes vs times at the track
im currently running 225 55 16 on the front but im gonna swap spindles so i can put 13 inch brakes on it but am im gonna slow it down switching to 245 45 17 thanks let me know guys, cause i dont wanna slow it down any switching to a wider tire?????

any input needed

Suspension/Steering / Cobra brakes and stock master cylinder?
Okay guys here is the deal I've got a turbo rear with mark 7 calipers up front the car stops fine I've not changed anything except addind 4 wheel disc brakes is the master cylinder up to the task of the cobra brakes

Suspension/Steering / upgrading the spindles on the 86, need some help
first off its and 86 tbird i need the 13 inch cobra brakes, so basically i have turbo coupe spindles right know, i went to the u pull it yard today and got some spindles from a 96 or 97 gt but after reading all this info i may need the 94 95 mustang spindles im gonna be using 13 inch cobra brakes, the car is using turbo coupe springs all around so sits down in the front since it has a 5.0 motor, i will be using 98 gt rims 17 x 8, so guys please let me know what u think and wether or not i need to get the other spindles, i know i need to swap ball joints

At The Track / ran 10.75@ 128.35 having to feather it
ive got the control arms coming from Chuck W at che and ive got the proper airbag coming the mustang bag was to short, we were worndering why it didnt change a thing so hopefully the car will o 10.50s, but who know till it actually hooks up, if we tried to launch it we could only run 11.0 lol so i told my buddy to feather it coming off to reduce wheel spin and it worked, so ill keep you guys up to date the horsepower is there looking at the 128 plus mph so there is no reason it shouldant run 10.50 what do you guys think??

At The Track / 10.99 in the 86 with a vortech guys read on need help on the suspension
its been awhile since ive posted here but here is a video of the 126 pass @ 11.0 before the altaenater died cause after this pass it kept slowing down till the car wouldant start then we knew what was wrong lol

know ive got che control arms on the rear ive tried 275 40 17 and 255 50 16 and neither will hook im running turbo coupe springs with stock replacement shocks the car initial hit is good it picks the front tires up then bam it starts spining u have to get out of the gas and get back on it, for it to other wise it will just burn them, so i know the car has atleast a 10.80 in it, im just not sure if i need drag shocks or some real slicks i have no clue what kinda power the car is making but its the vortech with the stock 3.33 pulley i believe not sure on the size but its the 10 pound kit with a powerpipe and water injection and afr 165 heads  any input on what i do to make this thing stick is greatly appreciatted
