What mods would I have to make...

...if I picked up this exhaust for the V8 base model? I've heard that I would have to extend it in a couple places. Would it be worth it?

I welcomed the dark side and currently am driving a 2000 Dodge Durango SLT plus, with a 5.9, Code named project "Night Runner"
Shes black on black, fully loaded, with headers, 180 tstat, e fan, straight exhaust into a cherry bomb vortex ler, full tune up, ported intake and T/B, MSD coil, and round aircleaner.
Mods to come: Fully rebuilt and heavily modded 46RE, and a richmond rachet locker.

You'll also need Mustang shorty headers. That H-pipe won't bolt up to your manifolds. Plus the pipes between the H-pipe and lers (Flow tubes?) will be too short (because of the longer wheelbase of these cars).

Well I can't see it, but it's as the others say except for my off road Hooker system... Turndowns are just right and the extension pipe had to be shortened a bit...

For $500.00 you should be able to buy headers,off road H or X pipe,lers and tails.Tips also.Get on Ebay and look around.Also,check the Corral,there's always good parts from those guys for sell cheap.I got my Flowmasters for $50.00.Not bad.

But it is stainless,doesn't come cheap.

humm 500.... Idk looks like its a STOCK replacement system.... Guess it wouldn't be bad, just not throaty.
