Your cam choice (how lumpy) also depends on what you are going to do with the rear gears & torque converter as well.

I used 2X2 .120, 1X2 .120 & 3/16" plate and some assorted 1/8" plate pieces underneath. I'll get some pics tomorrow of what I did. It's basically a triangulated connector setup with rear seat bulkhead plates. On the Griggs website it says that this setup increases the torsional strength extremely.

Lol.....I think I'll be keeping it for a loooong time. Yeppers, a just broke in 7.3 with 155k miles. Only thing missing is a fifth wheel hitch.

I found this locally. I'm going to get this at one helluva deal. The sad part is the owners husband passed away a short time ago. I can't pass this up.
