I've got an 88' Turbo Coupe with a 5 spd that has a worn out motor. I've always wanted to drop in a 5.0 HO, but lately have been thinking about a big block 460 !!! I'm hoping to retain the manual trans configuration. Has anyone tried this swap on have any info ??

Got them from a quick search. As for the T-5 you will need to sell it and buy either a Tremec 5 or 6 speed or go really old school and get a top loader. I have a 351W with a Tremec TKO in my '83 and it was pretty straight forward. I would highly suggest a tubular K-member with tubular control arms and coil overs. This will give you the room you will need as well as be able to support that boat anchor.
