Up for sale is my 88 bostonian, which I've babied all of it's life and taken very good care of.

I'm located in Mass, just outside of Boston.

Here's the rundown:

1988 Mercury Cougar Bostonian Edition

3.8 L V-6 engine , 153 k Miles, Smooth Automatic Transmission

*Power Windows, Locks, Mirrors, Steering and 8-way drivers seat
*Tilt Steering Wheel with Cruise Control

Modifications:

*K&N Filter Charger ( Air Filter )
*Custom tachometer on dash

*Custom brushed aluminum gauge overlay
*Silver / Gray dash trim swapped from a Ford Turbocoupe
*Black hood with hood scoops swapped from a Ford Turbocoupe
( Still have the silver hood and will throw in with purchase )
*Sequential tail lights ( lights sequence from inside to out on brake press or blinker )
*American Racing Rims with 16 brand new chrome lug nuts

*Tinted rear quarter windows
*Bra on front of car to match paint and trim
*Black fabric front seat covers (and will include 1 extra identical seat cover)
*Cobra radar detector hardwired (but detachable) into the top of the dash

Stereo System:

*Clairon CD Head Unit - flip down face, 40x4 watts
*2 x Brand New (1 month) Alpine Type-E 6 ½” front speaker
*2 x Brand New (1 month) Alpine Type-E 6” x 9” rear speaker
*2 x Alpine Type-R 10” subwoofer (300 Watts RMS, 1000 Watts Max each, SWR-1041d Dual Voice Coil)
*1 x Ported enclosure by SubZone, behind the rear seats, vented port through fold-out armrest in back seat

*1 x 1.0 Farad Stinger Capacitor
*1800 Watt Max Soundstorm Amplifier for Subs w/ bass adjustment in dash
***** Box, subs, and amp secured to the metal frame of the trunk with 3/8” STEEL BOLTS, positioned in such a way that the Box, subs and amp cannot be stolen unless thieves have a HACK SAW and 20 minutes to cut through bolts !!

Recent Mechanical Work:

*2 new lower Ball Joints (8 months ago)
*2 new front struts (8 months ago)
*1 new tie rod end (right side) (8 months ago)
*New front drivers brake rotor (3 months ago)
*Brand new heater core - Great HEAT! (3 months ago)
*No rust on the body except a spot the size of a thumbtack on the trunk
*Oil changed every 3k miles every time

I have meticulously cared for this car and have perfected it for 5 ½ long years – Lots of TLC has been put into it, along with my own work, time and money – It catches attention everywhere it goes, and it now needs a new home !!

$1250 priced to move!
I'll consider any reasonable offer.
I'll also consider parting without the subs, amp, box and cap and sell the car itself (leaving the cd player and new alpine speakers) for $750.
