Actually, Holden of Australia (GM owned) originally made the "GTO" GM imports, rebadges it, and calls it a GTO, but to me it snt really a GTO, and anyways, it does look like a GP...

I gotta transmission I well could do without, it's the M5 tranny, most commonly found in newer Ford trucks with the 302...my 92 has the thing, and it is a pos....Mazda built, I may add...it shouldn't hve been used in even a Ranger, let alone a half ton...they only put em behind 302s, if you have a 351 windsor with a stick tranny, it's either a 3/4 ton with a ZF trans. or it's been swapped into the truck.No 1/2 ton trucks ever came from the factory with a 5.8 and a stick...

I've a set of those trx 390 rims, but they're not in good shape, or probably not as in good shape as you'd like...I can get some good quality pics of em, if you want...lemme know...I got no use for em... edit: forgot to mention, I do have two centercaps for em..
Tbird232, I know whatya mean about the LT1 engines, had to put a water pump on one in my 94 Caprice, it wasn't the 5.7 version, it was the 4.3 liter version, but same thing on the outside, man, I hate that shaft drive water pump...what was GM thinkin?
it was a few years ago that I test-drove that Bronco, never did find out which tranny it had....if I had the money, I'd buy a clean, rust-free 94 to 96 bronco, paint it all mono- black, and put some Nite badges and decals on it, along with the clear corner and marker lenses. I have the clear lenses on my 92 F150, and they look awesome, all need is the headlights lenses, and a billet grille for it...I've got a lot of money in this thing....
i about bought a bronco last winter, wish i had of now, had a 302 and a 4 speed, which is ed rare in a bronc....btw, it was an 84 or 85, pretty cancerous, but all i was gonna do with it was use for winter drivin
dunno if you know this place, but http://www.ford-trucks.com has lots of kick-ass info on just about everything truck/suv/4x4 that was born with a Blue Oval... nice lookin bronc...any particular reason you chose a 351c over a 460? figured a Cleveland would be harder to find parts for, and whatnot...

it will line up just fine, unless you have a QA1 k-member or the like, i think they move everything back like a 1/4" or something...not sure, just what I've read in a car mag...so don't quote me on this..lol

i got a buddy who had an 82 'stang gt, that he built, and i mean built, (he worked at a ford dealer for 5 years) had a 392 windsor, t5, disc brake 8.8 rearend, all that stuff....anyway, there was a cop here in town that was always messin with him, sayin the car wasnt road legal...(probably wasnt-shhhh!) that it violated noise ordinances, blah blah....always pullin him over for some bull- thing...one night, after work, we got pulled over in the stang, and the cop was...none other than the :asshole: ! steve just grabbed his cell-phone, hit the number for his lawyer, and told him that the *&^*()-$%^&* son of a %^* pulled him over again, lawyer told him to hand the phone to the offocer, lawyer then told the cop that in the morning he was starting a case against the officer and the city for harassment....needless to say, the case didnt go to court, the city fired the cop, and not long after, he sold the car anyway! shame, cause he didnt sell the car to me! :screwy:
so then, those are different from the omni/horizon, right? when I was little, the folks had an omni TC/6, if i remember right, and seems as if it had a turbo, did have a manual tranny, as well... anybody ever hear of one of these, or do I just have the wrong number, lol
ps, it was a 2 door, and had some kinda "aero" lookin' front end on it, recessed (kinda-sorta) headlights, like an 80's Slowmaro...
