Engine Swapping / 3.8 to 351W stroker
future street / strip car ,i am sure that the fox world has beatin this horse to death... What I have read is, that the 87-88 tbirds use similar suspension to the SN95 stangs. my plan is to swap my 3.8 for a 351w stroker with a c6 behind that. I am looking for a 8.8 from a SN95 and the front spindles and hubs .  question ONE I have is the cross member can the original one work with the V8's or will it need to be swapped out... not worried about wiring issues, will be all MSD and custom gauges (mechanical if possible) only thing I will have to figure out is the speedo connections.  question TWO who sales a bolt in / weld in subframe connector. has anyone here tried the Kenny brown ones for a stang and lengthened them.  I know I will have to get a custom driveshaft.
question THREE  will the SN 95 specific LCA, UCA fit this body as reported in some other sites.
any help is much appreciated.

Engine Swapping / 87 "coug" resto winter project
wow, a lot of hard work going into this build, one option I did not see here was take your stock HO cams to a cam shop and make it to your specs.. can any one tell me if the stock 3.8 cross member work for a V8 build, I have a 351W from a 4x4 was told the pan will work... and have the mustang 351 swap headers. so any advise would be great. look forward to see more progress here and the finished product.
