Looks worse than I thought, in a good way...

I didnt think it needed that much body work. Sill looks better than mine does and I have 1/3 with real paint still.

The lower passenger side rear 1/4 panel was creased from wheel to bumper. That was the worst part. The front fenders and doors were replaced by me a few weeks ago.Not much wrong with them (nothing wrong now),and the rest of the entire car was sourced from donor cars.I think in about 10 work hours I can have it ready for paint. In just a few weeks, she'll look brand new.

Lookin good Vin. What kind of tips are those? They look like the newer 04+ GP tips. Need an exhaust vid. You still going with Estate Green?

Air tools?Um......well......not yet.I'm breaking them out for the strut bushing and front spring swap very soon.

I think I am going to stay with estate Green. Now,that choice may change when I get to the shop and I'm looking at the color charts.I do like that color though.

The tips are double walled, chromed stainless steel.Heavy and really nice.I'll be working on the car all day today.I'm going to pull the taillights after I splice in two connectors for the sequentials so I don't have to remove the inner sockets from the light assemblies so I can behind them,I also have to pull the header panel and lights. That's no big deal at all.A few minutes at the most to remove them.

I wish I could take a video with sound. The 40 series Flowmasters with the E303 cam sounds really good.More pics as things happen.I have a lot more sanding to do,but other than a very shallow (about 5 inches in diameter) dent in the roof, all of the dings and such are taken care of.I'm going to turn on some music and get crazy today. It's actually kind of relaxing out there all alone. It was a good day to take off work today to work as well. It's supposed to be 77 degrees.Perfect.

WOW-I finally get to see your car. OK here comes the questions. Are you keeping those exhaust tips and is there another set on the right side? Are you painting the moldings body color? What about the chrome in the moldings? replacing it/painting it/removing it? And are you  going to put moldings on the middle of the car?(door-under the 1/4 window-behind front wheel). My hand hurts-I'll ask more later.
