86 XR7 parts

I would guess that most of you are on the 1983-1988 Ford Thunderbird aerobirds and Mercury Cougar aerocats facebook group but I figured I'd pass it on anyway for those that aren't.

I just got home from picking up some parts from this car.  Pretty rusty, but plenty of good stuff left on it.  The owners aren't Cougar/Thunderbird people, just real car enthusiasts (Pinto) who hate to see good parts go to the crusher.  Very reasonable, friendly, and great to deal with.

heck no,, not me.

i had this debate with jandmustangs a couple months ago.

i asked him to use facebook and inside of 1 minute find the slave relay mod for headlamps by jcassity.

things are more organized here and the only reason people are on facebook is because they think they can get what they want now.. and they can have an excuse to not search and blame it on facebook for not being search friendly.

if you can not do everything on facebook that you can do here,, then why would technical people abandon something that has worked flawlessly since before ICQ days and opt to go to something that reminds me of a living room thats never been kept up with.

im helping this guy the other day who called about something,,,,
he literally said  "well people of my generation dont have time to wait"

my response was...........
"im sorry, your right, people of my generation learned to wait for things, your used to having your spoon brought up to your quivering lips".
apparently this is when i learned something else... according to the scolding i then got, i learned he was taught in college that "words can kill".

screw that hive,, not the people, but the hive itself,, its not a place for the kind of people who want details.
