Okay, I haven't put much thought in the car lately... After talking with Jcassity a couple hours ago and telling him there was a vacuum leak, I realized I was incorrect, but in fact the main reason I stopped driving it was the catalytic converter became clogged, Besides that there was a power steering fluid leak from one of the hoses. The car itself is rather solid, and i do have quite a few extra parts that all go with the car... Been a couple years since the car has had any street time
i know i missed out on all the fun and excitement from the last 2 catjams, but i am just throwing my opinion out there... i am a picky eater, and i know there are pleanty of other folks out there like that too, but pizza seems to be a common food that everyone can enjoy... i haven't been a fan of much catered food.. you can usually get enough different pizzas to satisify everyones tastes, however with catered meals there is normally a limited selection...
I know I don't have many pictures of this one, but I am in the process of quite a few different projects... a few of which include this car, and the space it is taking up in the garage. ... I can't say much about the car other than the engine did run rather strong and doesn't leak, but the tranny did slip just a little bit. there is no heat or a/c, but I have a brand new heater core that has not been installed. It has been about 9-10 months since the car ran, Tan interior, and the seats (drivers side has power) are in good condition (sorry I am keeping the seatbelts)... The tires have lots of tread left on them... I don't know what else to say about the car, other than I need to get it parted out so I can continue with my other projects.... best bet is to either email me at saconcepts@hotmail.com or on here.
Cougars 2 go, At one time did you say you had a pair of the clear GTS headlamp covers (or any brand for that matter)? If so can you tell me where you got them?... I am in need of 2 pairs of clears in the months to come.
I was lucky enough to come across the McK Plastics website before they took it down a couple years ago, and i only found it because of tons of searches...day in and day out. if you want their number, here ya go... 210-661-0007... the 87-88 cougar kit is number 40391, and when i bought it in 2002 was 479 plus shipping from San Antonio TX... i do believe that they did make thunderbird kits as well.... more info is on this page Cool Cats .. oh yeah my car is the bottom 2 pictures on that page, with the McK front end before an armidillio took it out... before paint too
nope... nothin like that... it will all remaim parts of this car.... no tbirds, although there will be many of left over parts from this car.... oh yeah... a lot of welding will be in order as well
I have been trying to figure out on paper how this project will look, once I am finished with it... I can picture it in my head (along with other stuff) but trying to put it on paper, I can't say too much about whats going to happen with this car, but I do call this project: "project 1/2 cat", and it will be something that to my knowledge has not been done to one of our cars b4.
ya know, I removed the amber lenses from my front corner lights a couple years ago, but now I drive around with my black out covers about 90% of the time. I came across a complete set of brand new lights for the front, so once this winter passes, I will be putting all new lights back in and I will not remove the amber lense this time.
no... that is more of a green on the top 1/2 of this car... but not when i finish up with er... the lighting in my garages suck and it was too cold to open the garage doors up for good lighting the other day, but its definately more of a metallic green than a blue
