T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars FOR SALE / Lots of misc parts (mostly Turbo related)
I have a bunch of misc parts I would like to move out to make room for more  Everything price OBO, let me know if you would like better pics of anything.

Hurst Tee shifter handle with button. Threads are for factory ford shifter. I used this on my car as a line lock control. Includes handle and lock nut. $30.00

Aftermarket (Turbonetics) dual port waste actuator with adjustable arm plus laser cut mounting bracket for T4 compressor. Never used, was bolted up to mock up and I'm going a different direction. $80.00

Aftermarket (Precision) single port waste gate actuator with adjustable arm. This one has a welded bracket set up for a T3 compressor housing. This will not work with the 2.3 standard manifold / turbo configuration as is (see third picture), would need modified, or great for custom set up. $50.00

Stock (Garrett) wastegate actuator for Ford / Garrett T3 turbo. This one still has a good heat shield (usually rotted off). $40.00 (I also have three others)

Stock T3 outlet elbow with internal wastegate puck (swing arm). This one has the studs removed for use of through bolts. I change mine to this way so I can drop the exhaust without getting under the car, plus it seals better this way (downpipe not included) This one was on my car until I installed the ATR big outlet this summer. $30.00

E6 turbo manifold for 2.3. When removed, two of the studs came out, one nut came off, and one stud broke (although it's long enough to get out with heat). Use this one to port while you are still driving your car  $40.00

IRCM (Intergrated Relay Control Module) and BAP from 87/88 TC. This is the module that houses the EEC relay, both fan relays, and fuel pump relay those TC's. Removed working from my car. $20.00

4 cylinder turbo fan from the early fox cars (early TC, SVO, Capri turbo GT turbo, etc) $20.00 (shipping will likely stink on this)

Finned turbo outlet pipe for non IC car (like the turbo coupe outley but has cooling fins, usually on Merkurs) $20.00

87/88 TC valvecovers. Both are the center dip style, on "stock" one was painted red but peeling. $20.00 each

87/88 TC intercoolers. Two avaialble $20.00 each

87/88 TC door hinges (both hinges, both sides. $20.00 or will seperate as needed.

87/88 TC mirror assemblies. At least two DS and two PS $10.00 each

87/88 2.3 stock throttle bodies. Like 5 avaialble, take your pick $10.00

Small bin that sits in the 87/88 TC console $5.00

87/88 TC snowflake centercaps. Many available, $5.00 each.

I also have lots of little misc TC parts around that either need to move or be thrown out. Make me an offer on this stuff, you might be suprised as it needs to go. Shipping extra on most parts, or make your offer "shipped".

Edit - Links did not work. Pictures of most everything are in this album, let me know what you are interested in and I will get you direct links, better pictures, or whatever you might want.

Lounge / Hey all
I havent been aroundhere much lately, thought I would give a little update for those that know me. I've been bracket racing my 2.3 Capri all summer for points, been doing okay, going rounds, hanging in the top 5 all season (3rd right now).

I really havent done a lot to "make more power" this year, it's all mostly been aimed at getting the chassis stuff sorted and ready for the next round of power. The car is stil la stock shortblock / stock T3 combo with my big valve head, ported E6, and I did add one of BoPorts 1.5 cams. Car is basically running 12.50's-12.60's, slow down to a low 12.70 in terrbile heat, picks up to high 12.40's in decent air. I cut the boost back a bit this year to 23 psi, and will tay there until we get into some good fall air and points end.

The big change for me recently was installing a Baseline Suspension set-up, changing over to Hoosier Quick Time Pro tires (dot), and went to a 4.10 gear. So enough of the words, on to some pictures :D

These pics are video captures from video's taken with a digi cam, so the qulaity is a little weak.........

Required burn out picture from earlier in the season (before QTP's)

I'm pretty happy with the car for what it is :D

Lounge / A few Capri Pics
Since I'm bored tonight, I thought I would throw up a few Capri pictures with this years combo, Appearance wise, it got a new glass hood, and I changed everything under the rear of the car to get a little more tire (and pro-stars)  ;) Car is washed, waxed, and ready ot race. Unfortunately, it rained out last weekend, and it's not looking good for this one ;)

Alsoo got the car ready for the next round of upgrades. Car is officially tied together as best I can make it, and still be a street car.

I love the Maximum Motorsports bar, took the door bars out, and I've driven it to work every day this week.

Lounge / Pinks tonight
My digital TC guide says that Pinks is new tonight at 9:00 (Speed). Suppoesed to be a 80 fairmont versus a 87 Thunderbird. Dont get excited because that guide isnt always right but......

Suspension/Steering / Thunderbird Front Sway Bar ??'s
Hey all,

My Capri has all SVO suspension under it. It's pretty common for the SVO guys to use a TC front sway bar as an updrade to the stock 30 mm bar. I'm technically going the other way, I drag race my Capri but also street drive it. I dont want to run with NO front bar, but would like to shed some weight, and dont like to do a lot to flip the car at the track. So if the TC bar is a bolt in, I assume the base model bars will too.

So my question, can someone provide me with some diameters of the stock bars on base 6 cylinder cars of the various years? I assume they would be a lot smaller (and lighter) than the  TC or SVO bars, yet still provide some tie in up front. I donr believe the regular fox or SN95 bars will work for this as I've seen in some searches.

Thanks for any help. Based on the last pics, I dont need to free it up a lot, but would like to loose some weight if possible ;)

T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars FOR SALE / 200 kph / 120 mph gauge cluster
This is an assembly of various parts to get a unique gauge cluster. This thing really drew some attention in my car!

200 kph / 120 mph speedometer, Odometer module replaced to record MILES (indicates 62,xxx miles)
7000 rpm tach WITHOUT firm ride light.
0-24 psi boost gauge.
Fuel / Oil / Water gauges work, the amp gauge has never worked in my car with any cluster.
Has a brushed aluminum overlay installed.

There is a small crack in the clear cover, but it is not visible when the dash face is installed.

This worked when removed from my car, however with the condition of the dash side of the harness in these cars there is NO WARRANTY on this. I have had to take clusters in and out of my car three times and adjust those terminals to get everything to work correctly, and who knows what can happen to nearly 20 year old electronics. If your harness is in good shape, it should be just fine

Here is a picture of the item installed in my car

Please e-mail for specific detailed pictures if you need them.

I am asking $100.00 Shipped to 48 states, insured, open to offers and 2.3 performance parts on trade.

T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars FOR SALE / 88 TC Part car- Performance and General Parts
Well, here goes...I DO NOT want to mess with pulling and shipping parts off this car, so I want to sell it as a parts car / roller. Keep in mind the base chassis has rust in the strut towers (fatal), rockers and quarters, so its s.

The car is located in SW Pennsylvania, roughly 30 miles East of Pittsburgh, real convient to Irwin and New Stanton interchanges of the PA Turnpike

Right now, this is a complete car, I drove it to work today, took it to the track Saturday, and will continue to drive it until insurance goes off. As of December 1st, its off insurance, and coming appart (sooner if it sells).

A few pics of the car itself here
http://community.webshots.com/album/286291390NkjoLs

And a bunch of pictures of the parts on the car here
http://community.webshots.com/album/366238975ddzjkz

It is my intent to keep the folowing - Complete head, intake, E6 / Turbo set-up, FPR, injectors, Radiator, ignition box, fan, shifter. There are few other thing like my DS loop, boost, A/F gauge, and shift light I would like to keep.

Specifcally what you get (of interest)

1988 Thunderbird TC, Maroon, 5 Speed, working air.
Stock short block, good enough to run 13.09's
Solid T-5 with Ram clutch
3:55 rear with recent T/L rebuild this year.
New / remanufactured rear brakes this year with working E-brake (new cables)
Moog cargo coils and new poly spring isolators.
CHE upper and lower control arms.
ETS 3" downpipe (no cat)
ATR 3" Stainless Steel single exhaust.
Walboro 255 lph HP in tank pump.
PA Performance 130 amp (?) 3G alternator. I forget the specific amperage on this.
Very nice maroon doors with clean base t-bird door panels.
Good hood, trunk lid, header panel, fenders, etc.
New (this year) red carpet.
Decent seats (both wth manual bases).
Red dash cap
Dual gauge a pillar pod (mustang part)
200 KPH speedometer cluster with aluminum overlay.
Blaupunkt dash, door and deck speakers.
Clear headlights (2 years old)
Nice spoogeho 245/50/16 tires on nice snowflakes.
Weld in subframe connectors, but I doubt you can remove them.
V-8 style radiator overflow (mounts up front)
Plus basically the rest of a TC  I will also throw in my 88 t-bird EVTM

In addition, I have piles of TC specifc parts that go with it, including spare instrument clusters, cooling fan assembly, overflow bottle, power seat base, stock downpipes, misc mirrors, actuators, snowflake wheels, center caps, basically whatever I have that is TC specific can go with the car.

I am asking $750.00 for the lot, or best offer, you haul it away. I am open to discussing other scenarios if I keep more parts, or make your best offer. I WILL NOT be selling this stuff of in bits and pieces. Until december 1st you can see the car run and drive.

I also have a set of 245/50/16 nitto drag radials on painted snowflakes that we can work into the deal if you like, and would even be willing to sell off my 26/10.50/15 ET streets on 10 hole wheels for the right deal.

Lets talk, PM or e-mail me at martin0660@aol.com

T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars FOR SALE / 88 TC for sale / part - performance parts
The car is located in Greensburg PA, roughly 30 miles east of Pittsburgh in the SW part of the state. The car has roughly 104K miles, but there are some issues. The front strut towers frame rails are in pretty poor shape. I had not noticed they were getting this bad until my recent quality time under there swapping turbo's (twice). There is also a small amount of rust around the passenger wheel lip and lower quarter, although that's not terrible. I do not believe the car would pass inspection next year because of the strut tower issues, so I am selling this as a parts car. this would be a great opertunity to swap all of these parts to a nice chassis and have a consistant, 13 second TC.  I AM NOT PLANING TO PART THIS CAR YET.

It is currently running with an IHI turbo right now, runs and drives good. As I said, this would make somebody an excellent parts car because of all of the new / rebuilt / upgraded parts and pieces.

General - Maroon with red interior.

Engine: Stock short block (questionable), ported big valve head with ranger roller cam and adjustable cam pulley (should have the valves lapped and the guides look at), Bob Lee gutted/ ported intake set, AFPR, plus all good working stock components. narrow 4 row radiator with pro-form single electric cooling fan, operates off EEC, AC switch, and built in thermostat. Car also has mallory ignition, but that IS NOT FOR SALE.

Exhaust: 3" ETS downpipe (no cat) into 3" ATR SS single exhaust. All of this is in very good shape.

The AC system was converted to R-134A and work well. I recently topped the system off, and it blows cold.

Trans: Very good T-5 transmission with UPR blu thunder shfter. Ram power grip clutch pressure plate, etc last year. There is also a FMS driveshaft loop under the car. There are also Chucks sub-frame connectors, but I doubt you could get them out the way we welded them in

New walboro 255 HP in tank pump with working fuel gauge and new tank straps.

Rearend: 3:55 geared 8.8 with fresh traclok clutches, New rotors, all rebuilt calipers, brakets, sliders, etc this spring. New parking brake cable, and it works!

Suspension: Stock front with Monroe struts, Rear is CHE tubular upper and lower control arms, new Moog cargo coils with poly isolators. this set-up hooked to 1.7X 60's on the strip.

Decent snowflake wheels with very good 245/50/16 spoogeho tires. I also have a set of spare snowflakes with 225/60/16 tires that could go with the car.

Both doors are basically rust free on the bottoms, and I have swapped to the base t-bird type door panels. These are in very good shape, and dont have loose parts. (although there are a bunch of TC panel parts arounde here). Fenders, hood, header, trunk lid, etc are all in pretty good shape too. A few dings in places, but nothing terrible. Basically with the exception of the core unit body, the parts are good.

Decent red seats, both coverted to manual operation, new aftermarket red carpet, 200 kph canadian speedometer with brushed overlay, and odometer reads in miles. Red dash cap, fits well, A-pillar gauge pod with 30"-0-30# boost gauge and A/F gauge. These are autometer phantom series white faced. Proform shift light, good shift boot, and Mustang bullit shift .

Car has a Pioneer AM/FM/CD with stock sized Blaupunkt speakers in the dash, doors and deck. Sound good to me, but I'm not a stereo guy

I'm sure I am forgetting stuff here. Since we need to list a price, lets say $2,500.00 OBO for the car as is to start discussions, but this is negotiable.

I would like to keep several parts off the car if I can make the right deal with someone. I would like to keep my head, Intake set-up, Radiator and fan, Ignition box (not included either way), and boost control valve from under the hood. From under the car I would like to keep my drive shaft loop. And I would like to keep the shifter, , and shift light, although all of this could be discussed. If I can keep these specific parts, we could talk about prices in the $1,400.00 range as a starting point for discussion. I am also open to a multitude of option in between these points, so lets talk.

I also have LOTS of TC specific spare parts, as well as stock type engine parts that can be available for the right deal. If you made it this far, please see this page for pictures of the car and several of the parts and click the links for thunderbird, thunderbird part, and parts for sale.

I am interested in a 3:73 8.8 rear on partial trade as well.

I will be travleing for bussiness next week, so please excuse any delay in responding. Please post, PM me, or e-mail me at martin0660@aol.com.
