Martinsburg,WV June 01, 2010, 10:36:03 PM Hosted by the Mid-Atlantic MN12 Thunderbird,Cougar Mark VIII club in coordination with Tri-State Thunderbird and Cougar club.Located in MartinsBurg,WV Aug 20-22, 2010open to all tbirds and cougars 1983-1997and Mark VII's and Mark VIII's On Friday night we all meet up at Steve's house outside of Martinsburg for a meet and greet. STeve opens his house up every year for this. great food, great friends. On Saturday we line up in the hotel parking lot and have a police escort to the park and have a car show. last year we had a pavilion and parked on the grass with an amazing back drop of the mountains.there is a catered lunch and show field trophy ceremony. we also have a stereo competition. this usually starts around 10am and last well into the after noon. On Sunday we all head to Mason Dixon drag-way were most of the guys are racing. and the rest of us are in the show field.and after this we all usually head home.the first year i went with my buddies from TSTACC. My sister Amanda and her fiance Joe have been going for many years as Joe has a 94 Tbird with a 4.6l PI V8. and my sis had a 94 v8 she took a few times. its just a great event. i would love to have more Fox bodies Tbirds there.its been three each year I've been there.they have put me in charge of letting the 83-88 tbird/cougar guys know of this. The name has changed somewhat for this year to honor one of the fallen members of the TSTACC, Brian Klein. Both Joel Bender and Brian Klein will be sadly missed. This event will be held in the Memory of both of these young men.The dates for this years event will be August 20-22. The event will again be held in Martinsburg, WV with the drag race portion scheduled on Sunday at the All Ford Event, at Mason Dixon Dragway, Hagerstown MD.The Schedule will be as follows:Friday Night - Meet & greet at my home.Saturday - Picnic/MAMN12 Car show/CruiseSunday - Race Day/Ford Car show at Mason Dixon Dragway.The final itinerary has yet to be completed but will be posted as we progress toward the date.Anyone with the following vehicles can partite at this event: all 83-88 Foxbody Cougars/T-Birds, 89-95 SC's, 89-97 MN12 Cougars/T-Birds, and all Lincoln Mark VII and Lincoln Mark VIII's.Those that are interested please plan to make future arrangements for this event.Hotel accommodations etc, will be provided at a later date as well.We look forward to seeing a lot of new faces and vehicles this year.
