Hopped in, turned the key, rrr-rrr-vrooooom-THUNK-THUNK.
Backfire?
Potato in the tailpipe?
Nope.
Should have stayed put, but I guess he tried to get out.
Does he look surprised to you too?

Repairing a lock cylinder that is frozen or sans keys requires a drill, gumption, and a midget on a tricycle.

Nah, he was up front, hiding above the driver's fender liner. I can't tell if he got caught in the belt or fan, but there's little bits strewn here and there under the hood. And he was a rat. A big messy rat.

I think eventually I'm going to end up with a snake hitting my flex fan.

Normally I hate snakes, but I allow some of the black/indigo/whatever garden snakes to live around here because they're good pest control whenever I decide to grow food. Saw one of them poking its head up into my engine bay last year.

That could quite possibly be the funniest picture I have ever seen. The way its ass is sticking up, with the tail all bent and stuff :rollin:

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
