my auto climate in my 88 bird only goes wide open hot or cold. any solutions welcome

There is a way to have the system run codes on itself. I dont know how to do it. It may be on coolcats.net

If that was a manual unit your problem would likely be caused by a faulty blower motor switch or resistor. So maybe a blower controller...?
