Body/Appearance/Interior / Coach light mod
I finally got around to taking a picture of this mod.  The hole isn't perfect and needs some sanding grinding to make it perfect but here is a regular C-pillar emblem that we all have:

Miscellaneous For Sale/Wanted / Can we add guidelines and tips to the sticky here?
I am getting tired of reading posts selling or wanting parts and cars where the member does not have their location in their profile AND the thread itself.  There have been some other consistent annoyances but no need to go into it.  Does anyone else feel that some simple guidelines and tips added to what is already in the sticky would at least provide an improved chance of a more comprehensive sale/wanted thread?  I mean, the author would still have to read it so we all know that's not 100% guaranteed but it would probably be read by some prior to creating a thread.

Here is what the Mark 8 board has as a sticky in the Sale/Wanted section just to give an idea of what may be helpful:

General Guidelines/Rules

If you are considering placing an ad here, here are a few tips:

1. If you're selling a car, please post at least the basics. Color, mileage, year, LOCATION, price, and so on. If you skip the details here, you'll be making more posts to fill in the gaps later, when people start asking questions, some of who might not even be interested if it's on the other side of the country.

2. Pictures truly *are* worth a thousand words. Whenever possible, include a picture(s) of the car/items.

3. If looking for cars/parts, it's often useful to include where YOU are located and how far you're willing to go for a purchase.

4. When the car/part is sold, or if you don't want any further inquiries, drop me or any of the other moderators an email, and we'd be happy to delete the ad.

5. We strictly prohibit any links to auction sites. There are no exceptions to this. If you would like to list something here, and if it doesn't sell, take it to eBay, great! Just don't link to your auction on this site.

Lounge / I now own RICE
My wife has wanted a fart can on her Integra for years.  Some of you all remember a while back when I was looking for ways to try and talk her out of a fart can.  Well, her stock exhaust rusted and fell off so I couldn't hold it off any more.  I went to Overboost and got the Overpriced HKS setup and also got a "high-flow" cat from Summit.  At least it was fairly easy to install.
I need your sympathy.

Electrical Tech / Power seat harness in non-power seat car
I finally took a picture of this after talking to Eric and Bill and others at Ford Carlisle about it.  My '87 LS did not have a power passenger seat yet it looked like the harness was right there.  I thought I had heard someone say that if you didn't have a power passenger seat and wanted to add it, you would have to add the harness too, which is why I was surprised to notice this:

Is this the harness for the power seat?

General Fox T-Bird/Cougar Discussion / Need advice on what to save before junking car
As many of you know, my '87 Cougar LS 3.8L with 200K miles was taken out by a drunk over two years ago.  I still have it though but the time has come to send it off to the crusher.  I need input as to what I should try and get off of the car before it gets towed away sometime this week.  The front end was damaged so the hood, fenders, front panel, and grille were all ruined.

I have taken the doors off, the trunk lid off, the trunk liner out, spare tire, the rear quarter belt molding, the seats, interior panels, interior center console, side glass, engine harness, door and trunk rubber, door sill plates, glove box, heat/AC blower motor behind the glove box, and the computer.

I ruined the base cluster getting it out, well not the cluster but that one-piece cable thingy.  I have the dash bezels and the radio and climate control and that stuff that easily comes out from the dash.  I would like to remove the whole dash just to see what I can get behind it but I can't find all the bolts.  Any help with how to get this part out would be appreciated.

I plan on getting the carpet out and I would like to keep the wheels and tires because the tires were fairly new when I washiznit.  What else should I get for keeps before trashing it?

Lounge / I AM Visiting Niagara Falls, need "local" input
I am thinking about surprising my wife with a little weekend trip up to the falls but before I go falling into the tourist trap stuff, I wanted to see what the locals have to say about it.  I am thinking about leaving here either the evening of November 18th, the morning of the 19th, or the evening of the 19th.  The occasion is her birthday on November 19.

Any advice, places to avoid, roads to avoid, things to not waste time on, things that we should definitely not miss, good place to eat, stay overnight, etc, would be appreciated.

Here is the route Mapquest suggested.

Maybe we could meet up with some of you Niagara folks Friday or Saturday.

User Rides / Lunar Eclipse
I tried getting the lunar eclipse when it started but I am still learning my camera.  I definitely found out there are some things that I have to look up in the user's manual that were annoying me.  Here is a pic though, just looks like a normal moon, oh well (note there is a car at the bottom):

Body/Appearance/Interior / GST ground effects kit fitment issues
Does anyone with the GST ground effects kit on an '87-'88 not have a fitment issue with the driver side valance?

Or confirm if you have the same problem with the top edge of the rear section sloping down away from the molding as you look at it starting from the rear wheel well where it is tight against the molding and then move your eye along the top edge toward the door. A gap gets larger toward the door.  So the top edge is tight against the molding at the wheel well side but behind the driver door, there is a gap.

Do we all have that? I can't get it to fit any better and it's g me off.

Past Cat Jam Threads / Help with Cat Jam
Eric,
Is there anything that some of us could do from a distance to help with Cat Jam?  If you have one, maybe you could post a list of stuff needing to get done and we here on the board could just start claiming action items and get them taken care of.
