Fine, if it will make everyone get off my case, fine, I admit there's no Boss here. I know ware there's one but it's not MINE persay. I swear to god my had a Boss and he told me when we moved he pulled the engine. And to this day at my uncles there is a ford motor on the floor with a Boss air cleaner. Is it a Boss, not sure. The only reason I opened my mouth is cuz I thought it would be cool to say that there is one. There is also a 455 Pontiac on the engine stand and an AOD there. I'm going on what i've been told. Now I admit that I'm not the most reptuable person but I'm doing what 4mykid said and telling it as it is, not how I want it to be....

Now that the original poster's thread has been completely and hopelessly hijacked by a bunch of bullshiznit..

To the original poster: I realize I may not be the most knowledgeable car guy here by a long shot.. but as I see it, it's kind of a waste to put an engine like that in cars like these unless you intend to go all the way with it.. make it a truly spectacular show-quality one-of-a-kind.. like that Fairmont we saw awhile back that had a 427 cammer in it. If not, you could consider making your own "Clevor" (289/302/351W block with Cleveland heads) and using that instead for a relatively cheap knockoff. I say leave the real Boss engines for the Boss cars they came from. Here's a link to get you started reading up on it:

Having said that, I think this thread needs locking.

Claude, shut up. You "won", 84 Fila admitted he was wrong, now you're just looking for other fights to pick. Regardless of who or what the original poster is, this thread is hopeless at this point and you're not helping matters any. Let it go.

One reason i enjoy this site so much is the lack of BS,name calling, and all the other  that i have found on many other forums/sites so lets keep it real dude.:D

One reason I enjoy this site so much is that I'm an admin and can lock childish threads like this  before they get too stupid. Come on, people, who cares whether he's got a Boss or not.  I don't have one, you don't have one, and whether he has one or not does not affect any of us.

Move along folks, nothing to see here...:locked:
