Waterford was a blast, smooth track, all third gear (except a couple times when I nailed the corner going into the back, then I would shift to 4th as I would otherwise rev-limit 3rd). The sticky tires on the Bird are quite a bit of fun too. Stickiest set I've owned on a Fox Bird/Cougar (5th one). Cool seeing your T-Bird today rolling by.Cooter Quote Selected

Tires and Such Reply #6 – July 15, 2011, 12:25:33 PM Fordguy, I did end up getting the BFG G-Force Sports. I like them so far. I don't know that I will ever AutoX it. Probably just track days. Track days and RallyCross seem like a lot more fun than Autocross (although I've only spectated Autocross)...this Bird will stay out of the dirt for a long time though. I may do a Vintage (yup, it qualifies) Rally here and there too (if all paved).86T-Bird, I am sure Waterford PDX will be a go again around next June. I will probably not go there until then. Perhaps a Track on the West Side of the state may come in to play later this year though. We'll see. I'll let you know if I am going.Cooter Quote Selected
