Are women nuts?

Hey guys I just wanted to get your opinion on something that just happened to me. Now just so you know I'm 20 so mabey this is nothing new but here goes.

I was at a work related party on Sunday (ie only people who work for my employer were at this get together) and I met a girl. Well we hit it off and we talked and when it came time for the party to end I asked if she wouldn't mind if we exchanged email addresses just to ya know stay in touch. She said yeah and suggested that we also exchange phone numbers. She also said to give her a call this week so we could do something. I was like ok. So I called her today and asked if she wanted to do something later this week and she said yeah that she a her BOYFRIEND would like to do something. I was like "wait you didn't tell me you had a boyfriend". She said "yeah we've been dating for 3 years but I just thought it would be cool to hang out with you" and I said "well why don't we keep in touch by email for now and mabey in a few weeks when I have some time we can hang out". She said "ok sounds like a plan and I'll keep in touch by email".

Mabey I just think backwards but usually when a girl gives you her phone number without you asking for it then that usually means that
1. She is interested in you and
2. She is single.
It's not like I'm a noob when it comes to dating. I've had a few long (ie 8 months to a year) realtionships and I've never had this experiance before. I just wanted to malke sure that I'm not :crazy: and that as I have thought before women don't think like men do. I'de never do that to a girl but apparentally they think that there is nothing wrong with leading a guy on. Oh well I'm just a little puzzled so if any of you wiser :bowdown: guys have had this happen to you I'de appriciate the stories. I guess someone gets each of us once in a while.

Oh goodie I'm screwed forever! I hoped it would get easier to figure women out as I got older but I guess I'll never know what they are thinking. I guess I'll feel like this

for the rest of my life if I ever try to figure out women.

women, they don't use the same logic we do. you can never assume. I am married, and I always try to get my wife to say what she means in language that can't be argued, but i never can.. just have to do the best you can when i comes to women.

some women play the lets get real friendly game, then later say about their b/f....they are one category of women you will soon be able to spot and avoid.......most times they are either trying to make a b/f jealous or keeping something in reserve 'cuz their relationship is rocky.......basically their manipulative c$nts

I had an interesting experience myself. This girl was working at my moms work and I would see her from time to time. She drove a camaro when I first met her but interestingly enough bought a cougar soon after. We would talk and got along very well. As a matter of fact, I even helped her out on some problems she had with her car. It seemed that she liked me and I have to admit that I really liked her. The only problem was that at this time she had a boyfriend.

Months later, my mom's coworkers were talking with her and after she got out of her relationship and suggested her to talk to me. After talking to my moms coworkers myself, I learned that she did like me and as a matter of fact she handed her phone number over to my mom one day. So I called her and we talked for a little while. When I called her again we tried to set something up to go out. The only problem was that she was in the middle of finals for school and I was in finals as well as working until 8 p.m. Well for another attempt, I called her again. This time though she sounded different. When I saw my mom the next day she said that the girl was at a mall, met someone and all of the sudden wasn't interested. Apparently she met him when I was talking to her the night before.

Sadly this was not the only failed attempt. There have been several others all ending in the same fashion. . . me being alone trying to figure out why.

So there's my sob story as I continue the search for a good girl of my own.
I've always been told I'm a nice guy and as the old saying goes. nice guys finsh last.

Yeah women suck. I can't even remember how many times I've talked to a girl for awhile and really started to get interested in her when she suddenly reveals she has a boyfriend. In fact every one I talk to seems to be taken.

The worst one was a couple years ago, I was taking a summer physics class at school and this hot little thing was in there. We ended up pairing up for one of the first labs and got to talking, and she was brushing against me and everything, and we talked pretty much every day. Just when I'm thinking I should make a move she starts talking about going on some trip with her boyfriend. I was just thinking, god dammit... :disappoin

i get the same thing all the time, ive stopped caring, im in a relationship, and i dont even know whats going on with it, and i dont even care

Well actually this wasn't the first time that I've been screwed over by a girl. It seems like every time I'm interested in sombody they have a boyfriend or they don't tell me they have a boyfriend untill i've wasted alot of time talking to them and trying to get to know them. But god forbid that a guy screws with a girls head. I'll have to admit that I've given a girl a wrong phone number a couple of times or just not called a girl when she gives me her phone number and I'll get hell from my friends who are girls for doing it. I just tell them it's my little way of evening things out for all the times girls mess with guys heads

. I haven't dated in a year because of a bad break up and this was my first real atempt at starting a new relationship. Oh well I've got more time to screw up after all I'm only 20. Atleast I haven resorted to going after 15-16 year olds like my (20 year old) friend :barf: who impresses them by saying he is in college. I've really got to put a stop to him doing that before he winds up in jail!

thats why i dont really sweat girls man

as my friend says "when a girl says 'dont want to give you head', it really means 'i dont want to date you"

dont look for a relationship, just chill, i keep randomly ending up in them

whats wrong with 15-16 year olds? im dating one right now :p
