Completely different question about exhaust

I don't know if its just me, but at stops or such, if someone pulls up really close to me from behind, the car will begin shuddering...happens the same if I back into a parking spot with a wall, hill, etc behind me. I don't know exactly how much room is back there, but I'm guessing around a foot.

Just happened a few minutes ago and I had to creep forward a little more to get away from the person behind me. If anything, I should have less of a problem like this having the semi-dual exhaust

Doesn't make sense unless the person behind you is stuffing an apple in your exhaust pipe.

sounds like sound reverberation to me.  I get this when somebody is beside me at a stop and their exhaust noise and mine seem to "compete" with each other and almost cancel each other out.  Feels weird when this happens ... lots of base , kind of shudders too.

Thats what I don't get, it shudders horrible while the engine's rpm's start going haywire - only when there's something in close proximity behind me. I've seen weirder things happen that should be impossible, but this one is up there...something that happens when something else changes - the two of which have no correlation with one another

Someone want to fly up to Washington and test it themselves? :wtf: This may have to be one of the things I file away along with ufo sightings by people and things making noise that have no physical way to make them (don't ask...)

doesn't explain when I back into a parking spot at a mcdonalds up the street (when picking someone up)...the hill behind me causes problems, sometimes killing the engine, yet it runs fine if I pull out a little
