I just got the power from the fusebox using an add a circuit thing from the parts store.  Quick, easy and totally reversible.  I love my AEM btw.  I mounted mine in one of the vents as seen below.

@Loaded87IROC    that looks sick... ive been looking does that gauge pod thing from the fox body mustang fit above the radio.  it holds two gauges. i think on the fox it goes where the vents are supossed to be at. and what pillar pod works for our car that fits perfect i heard 94 mustang one does is this true. i searched on here but no clear answer

Thanks.  It only took a few hours to make it.  The Mustang gauge cage won't work in our cars because of the different vent layout.  Some people have made gauge panels for the spot above the radio if you don't have a factory EQ in that spot.  The 94+ Mustang A pillar gauge is the one that fits the contour of our car closest.

Edit: Look at the following link at NATO for a short pillar gauge install.

I thought about using the clock spot but I love my Tripminder too much, lol.  I keep the 85 pretty clean but I rarely clean the turbo car as it rarely gets driven.

I don't think one of those will fit in that spot.  You will probably have to make your own, which shouldn't be too hard.  I made delete panels for my radio and HVAC out of some acrylic sheet.  You could probably do something similar with holes for the gauges.

This one shows the mounting of my AEM near the shifter. I just put it there to tune and plan to move it to another car when I tune that one.

I mounted the tach, and used this  http://www.jegs.com/i/Auto-Meter/105/2204/10002/-1?parentProductId=745207  to mount my vacuum gauge  using SHORT screws directly into the plastic column cover.  I thought this through long and hard as once those holes are made, they're  forever. I run a carb on all my toys and rely heavily on both vacuum and my AEM for the ultimate tune under all conditions.

AEM says that the O2 must be mounted at least 36" downstream.  I have my stock O2 in the stock place and then the wideband O2 further down in the downpipe before the ler.
