I like Peugeot but they have one major problem IMO, they all have the same basic design. All the headlights look the same, all the griles look the same, all the cars basically lok the same. This ruins it for me, theres really no way to look different in a Peugeot.

And this is different from other car manufacturers how?
Pontiac is just as guilty to name one.

There ARE a few different variations on the headlamps FWIW...

Yeah, most automakers have a common design element in their front and rear treatments. Look at Porsche or even moreso Aston Martin. Other than Korean car makers, who basically just copy everything from everywhere, I can't think of an automaker who doesn't have a universal look. Well, Ford is kind of all over the place with their NA designs, but their European design house keeps things pretty tidy.

Just the mere fact of DRIVING a Peugeot in the US is different...

BTW...it's not like ALL Ford grilles/headlights don't look the same these days either....

But when your most expensive car resembles your cheapest car it ruins the appeal. Pontiac does do this but I think they look more appealing.

Yes I agree a Peugeot in the US would be cool, I think the pod vehicle would make it even cooler. A normal Peugeot is just an odd looking car IMO. You are right, Pontiac did this pretty bad (I.E. GTO, Grand Prix, Grand Am, Montana) but honestly I find all of those cars to be a bit more attractive than a Peugeot, they are quite ugly. This is just my opinion.

SO technically it has nothing to do with the front-end treatment being the same, it's just that you don't like Pugs.

Then again, it's hard to "cheapen" the look of a Pontiac any more than they already are, so having a similar front treatment wasn't going to have any effect ;)

Agreed.  2 people need to be strung up an quartered.....The person who designed that abomination of a front end, and the other one who approved it.

You mean the twin-kidney grille? I kind of like the look of it, in certain executions. I find the worst ones being used now are on Acuras, Hondas, and What is Lincoln thinking of with that hairlip design?

THIS is exactly the kind of vehicle I was talking about. If a motorcycle can be road legal why can't this? And the sad thing is, it's so doable! It would require only minor modifications to an existing ATV to make it streetable (emissions control equipment, bigger brakes, street-oriented tires & wheels, lighting, horn, etc).

The world NEEDS this. It is a true crossover, not like those silly jacked-up station wagons that weigh just as much as the truck-based SUV's they're supposedly replacing. This one is a crossover between two completely different classes of vehicle. Imagine commuting on this thing, or driving it around town. It certainly isn't any less safe than a motorcycle or scooter...

Something like that is street legal in the U.S.  It has 3 wheels.... I've seen them on the road registered and insured.

They have an open top version which I've seen as well.

Those are actually built in Montreal. There's a Harley powered roadster they build too.

The company's called Campagna.
