Re-wiring front door speaker

Well, last time i had some repairs done, evidentally the shop cut my drivers side door speaker wire out...saying it didnt work (which it did before i took it there...needless to say i have found a better shop to work on my car since then), so I was just curious what the best way to re-run the wire is, i was hoping that maybe it will just slide right back through the door and all, last time i tried it wouldnt fit, altho i didnt try to take the piece of rubber that covers the wires between the door and where it runs in, beacsuse i didnt want to tear it up, lol (hopefully that wasnt too dumb of a question)  :hick:

use a piece of wire, note if you use a coat hanger, make sure the end you push threw is bent back as to not rip. you just tape the wire to it and slide it threw the rubber hose threw the door. then stick your hand up inside  by the kick pannle and feel for it, grab it and pull threw. it took me about a half hr to do both doors when i rewired my speakers, and it is a paine in the ass...

At Best Buy we simply use an extra large zip-tie. It make things ten times easier.
