Re: Show off the little stuff! Reply #47 – June 22, 2005, 01:36:13 AM I finally removed the seatbelt 'thingy's' from my parts car and meant to bring them in tonight to see if our current sleeves or some of our 'obsolete' sleeves will fit. Guess I forgot. They will have to be painted, but at least maybe we can all have good ones. We have black and a dark grey, but everything else will have to be painted. I'll post replt romorrow to let everyone know if we can get them. Quote Selected
Re: Show off the little stuff! Reply #48 – June 22, 2005, 08:26:32 AM Ooh, interior stuff! I almost forgot. I DO have to either find a right side smoke grey sun visor without a rip or reupholster mine.... Quote Selected

Re: Show off the little stuff! Reply #52 – September 27, 2005, 09:57:55 PM Thread to be revived tomorrow with pics, after I get home from work. Figured I'd bump it while I was digging around for old posts. :pThings might pick up now that I actually have money to work on these things. :p(and the revival won't have anything to do with upper intake plates, I promise) :DI did the plastic trim rings on the Mark's side mirrors, and I'm painting the grille tonight. Re: Show off the little stuff! Reply #53 – September 27, 2005, 10:54:24 PM Painted over the woodgrain on the dash with magenta/gold color changing paint. It almost matches the car color, also painted the turbines gunmetal. :D Quote Selected

Re: Show off the little stuff! Reply #55 – September 28, 2005, 12:10:37 AM Little stuff ya say?Well, here's a shot of my valve cover...it's one of the early turbo ones (best of the bunch IMO). Painted the sides with wrinkle black, then masked the top and painted the main part the same color as my car, and did the Ford emblem in metallic blue. Then I sanded down the raised parts. Turned out pretty nice but now that it's on the car, I dunno how I'm gonna be able to keep it clean. I also painted my upper & lower intakes with wrinkle black and painted the throttle body black and accessory brackets black for a little different look. Also got a shot of the gauge panel I have in my EQ hole.I should also get a picture of how I put the controls for my reverse indiglo gauges in the "blank" spot where the controls for the autodimming lights would be. Blends right in. I also stripped the peeling black paint off my aluminum door lock surrounds (so it's bare aluminum) and that thing in the center console but it didn't turn out as good as I thought it might look. OH, I also put some aluminum sill plates from an '84 Thunderbird in my car, they look way cooler than the factory plastic ones. Quote Selected
