Headlights

So I just bought an 87 thunderbird. It has a bit of cosmetic damage, but im a mechanic in the army, so i wanted to restore it. The first thing I really want to fix is the passenger headlight is totally busted, but I cant find them for sale on any website. Is there something I am missing???

No. Basically they just don't make them anymore and there is no aftermarket support for these cars. You're only options are to buy used from here, ebay, or get one from the junkyard. Every now and then you'll get lucky and find an old NOS part but those are incredibly expensive, and hard to find in pairs.

I got mine on ebay. They aren't always available though. Someone on the forum probably has a used one they could sell you. Welcome to the forum BTW.

Some dealerships still have access to them, but they are $160+, and like others mentioned your other option is to search the forums and eBay for them.

You can also make your own.
...and there was light!
