This board is awesome!!!

Just wanted to tell everyone here that this message board is hands down the best on the net.

I have been poking around on other boards

I KNOW! I KNOW! I'M SORRY

and cant believe how rude and thankless some people are, just complete :asshole:s when you try to help them out. Some people post questions and leave out details, then call you down when you go out of your way to find them info and suggest something they already tried! its unbelieveable.

I just cant comprehend how when you go out of your way to help someone who you dont know from a hole in the wall they can call you an "idiot" a "moron" or tell you that "you dont know what you are talking about" Its very depressing to know that people can be this way towards someone they dont know who is trying to help :(

I would like to give everybody on this board a big THANK YOU for being the way you are

Also I should mention that we have the only political thread that I've seen that hasnt turned into a huge flame war, and I think that shows alot about a persons character.

Yellow Discipline's thread also points out some of the same points I have made, although it didnt recieve many replies (only 1) I think we all secrely deep down inside feel the same about this group wether we like to admit it or not :D

yeah, most boards do have maturity problems. You have to remember though that most of those people that act like that are young and still need to learn some valuable life lessons (such as the world not revolving around them

). The way this board runs probably also helps keep it running in the way it does. If some teenager comes in here, and is the type who would be a smart***on other boards, and notices how everyone acts around here, he/she is more likely to follow along with how everything else is flowing. This includes showing actual respect to other members.

I'm sure this holds true to the other age ranges as well, but you can't deny that teenagers have the most free time to be surfing the net and are the reason some boards have maturity issues.

There are only three boards I know of where the members aren't complete pen 15s. Here, NATO and the folks at Celticradio.net . It makes a difference when you give a about other people, and not just their opinion of you. :)
