Day Trip to Chimney Rock, NC yesterday

Yesterday, I headed to the mountains near Asheville NC and took my girlfriend to see Chimney Rock.  And of course, I had to take the T Bird.

It did remarkably well in the mountains, and the gas mileage was also impressive on the highway.  Here are a few pics..

Today, I took the set of GT40P heads and Explorer intake I acquired recently and put them in a machine shop.  I also have a set of OEM 1994 Mustang headers on their way now!

Big plans for the Bird.

The elevator was broken and undergoing repairs :( we had quite a hike up some stairs instead!
