WOW !!!!! A Carshow During Wintertime.....

I did end up going to World of Wheels - it was very well attended. Seemed to be about the same number of cars I remember from 10 years ago when I last attended. I took a few photos with my dad's cam (I dropped off my kids and took my dad).

Here is my dad with Keith - he's the kid from the rod shop (father & son) that painted my rear bumper.

Keith and his dad were wet sanding this '37 Ford when I was there to pick up my bumper:

This GT37 reminded me of my GTO, but also how there were odd models like "GTX", "GT37" & others from that era that I had forgotten about:

This Factory 5 Ford Roadster makes me want to sell my T-Bucket and buy one of these instead ($20k + drivetrain, wheels & paint).

I liked this "bubble car" - lol

Crazy '63 Corvette with an LS7 engine in it!

One of a number of '41 Willys at the show - these were more popular that '32 Fords.

There were quite a few Mustangs there, but I've seen them all at other shows. The one GT500 was nice but the photo didn't come out - oh, well.

Edit: Oh, and there was a beautiful '57 T-Bird, but I was too busy discussing the "fin" on the rear quarter with my dad that I forgot to take a photo of it :hick:

Cool pics as well. Nice to see I'm not the only one still loving the late 70' cars. For many who think they are too slow, there were quite allot of modified cars during these times as well, well making up for it all. Some were just plain wicked after modification. O, and thanks Dan

Factory five has a new GTM "supercar" that they sell. $20k + drivetrain & wheels. Check out their website. I had no idea Factory Five was local to me - I see the Mk3 Cobra kits at the shows all the time.

Here's one with a roof scoop:

Looks better without the roof scoop.  That blue one is nice!  Nothing to clutter it up!

Those look great on the wall like that.  Do they just sit on there, or are they fastened somehow?
