General Fox T-Bird/Cougar Discussion / Nice Bird in Warminster, PA
I was picking up my race car from MD Race Cars in Warminster, PA and I heard a very loud engine coming my way. I turned around and saw the best 87-88 Thunderbird I've ever seen. Turbo Coupe nose, hood and wheels, dual exhaust, fresh white paint with red accents. Not only was it the best Bird I've ever seen, it was one of the best sounding cars I've ever heard in my life.

Does the owner of that car post here? If so, let me know. I'd love to see it up close.

Suspension/Steering / Koni rebuilding
Good morning folks.  Took the Bird out last night for a quick spin. Took a few turns and parked it.  Noticed oil spewing out of the pass. side adjustable Koni.

Has anyone sent their Konis for rebuilding? If so, who did you use, and how was the finished product?

Engine Tech / My V-6 needs some help
Well I have the dreaded engine surge problem, as well as the thing stalling out on me.

I bought a remanufactured distributor w/module, but the ed thing doesn't work properly and I have to return it this week. 

Has anyone else had the same problem of reman. distributors not matching what's in the car?

Make a $ offer, or trade some old Ford magazines, 87-88 dealer brochures, SVO catalogs from the 80's, or other cool Ford collectibles.  Does it have a Ford logo?  SVO logo? Tbird logo?  Do you have a set of nice 3.8 liter valve covers that have the Ford logo on them?

I'm also a fan of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones too.  Concert programs, posters, whatever.

Let's make a deal.  This stuff is too big and it's in the way of summer projects.

Misc Tech / Ford Racing Radiator M-8005C

Just a quick question:  Does anyone here have this radiator in their Cougar or Thunderbird?  If so, how do you like it?  Any problems during the install?

Lounge / Free car repairs for anyone who asks
Isn't it funny how many people hit you up for free car repairs once they find out your hobby is wrenching? I've been asked to do brakes, replace a transmission, and change enough tires to reach Alaska and back.

I just got an email 5 minutes ago about headgaskets and brakes!

Lounge / Stupid looking antique & classic tags in PA
I went to a car show tonight and was horrified by the downright ugly antique and classic tags.  PA now has every plate looking the same as the normal plate except for the antiques, which sport a friggin red Chevy from the 30's in place of the first 3 letters or so.

The old antiques where a real vintage looking faded purple plate with white lettering.

I can't imagine their choice for the new plate.  Why would ANY collector of antique cars want an image of another antique or collector car on their plate? I hope this thing fails and people protest these ugly messes.

T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars FOR SALE / 87-88 Turbo Coupe hood & header panel MUST GO!
Hello everyone.  I have a TC hood and header panel up for grabs here in Philadelphia, PA.  No shipping is available for all of this stuff. 
They're light blue in color and were taken from either an 87 or 88 TC. 

I'd say 150 bucks takes it all - or best offer. This stuff is big and in the way of other car projects.

Someone's gotta need a hood and header in and around the tri state area.
