Title: help! want to remove starsky & hutch stripes of my bird

does anyone know the best procedure or something to remove wide stripes off of my car?

I took some pinstripes off of a car I had at one point.  I used a hair dryier and one of those bondo spreaders.  Just work really slowly and buff out the area when you're done.  If the stripes are below the clear coat, it can be a little trickier.  You'll probably have to use a razor blade and work REALLY slowly in that case.

how long have they been on there? you might be better off waiting till you get the car painted, because if theyve been on for a long time, youll see the difference in the paint under the stripes

well ive had the car for about 6 months idk for sure.
