Body/Appearance/Interior / How to remove and reinstall this body piece??
So I took this piece off of my new shell cause there was some rust and I wanted to see how extensive it was. Luckily its only surface rust but now I dont know how to reinstall it and Im afraid I bent the trim when I removed it. So does anybody know an easy way to remove this piece without messing anything up??

User Rides / Its been a while... New project.
Well nobody here probably remembers me but I havent visited the site for about 3 years since moving to VA and leaving my sport in PA until I could get it transported down here. Well the sport still sits in PA and Im sure the rust that was there has gotten worse.
The good news is I started working at a shop at the beginning of October and I noticed one of my coworkers had an 88 tbird. Well after about 2 weeks I saw him workin on a 92 tbird getting ready to remove the engine. So i asked him what he was doin and he said he was taking the drivetrain from the 88 and swapping it into the 92 cause it had a bad engine. I asked what he was gonna do with the shell and he said he was gonna s it.
I thought the 88 shell may be just the thing for me to swap my parts to... So I let him know I was interested in the shell and after he finished the swap I gave him $75 for it. The interior is rough and there is some body damage that will need fixed but being a VA car there is very little rust. X

I was over on the NATO site just snooping around and i saw this link in the vendors section. So i was wondering if anybody here has ordered from them. There is only 1 post on the NATO board about them. The only thing is i cant find pics of the colors and they dont list Raven as a color option.

Misc Tech / I need some help with this Oldsmobile
I know its not a ford but I know you guys are smart and i hope a couple of you have worked on one of these before.
The car is a 1988 oldsmobile cutlass ciera with the 3.8L SFI

The problem is at light throttle the car runs like , it misses really bad and it had been stalling out while driving. The only codes thrown were 12(normal), 23 (intake air temp), and 34 (mass air sensor). The problem there is those were disconnected by someone while my mom was stalled out he stopped and disconnected them and they drove back home. I havent been able get the codes to clear, even after taking the ECM fuse out for like an hour I guess i am going to have to pull the - cable on the battery to see if the codes come back after clearing them.
She took it to the shop where she got it and they changed the injector o-rings and then about a week later while it was still doing it took it back and they took all day to say it was dirty injectors(which supposedly got cleaned). I am thinking its the injectors internally leaking/not working right, cause it loses fuel pressure after a little while and there are no leaks in the fuel lines.
I checked the TPS and it had a dead spot so i replaced it but it didnt change anything.
Everything i have read as far as repair info(mitchell on demand, and the autozone repair guide) says that the TPS sensor should go from .4V at idle to 5V at WOT, but when i checked the one on there it was backwards at idle/not running it was 4.8V and went down at WOT. 
Does anybody know for sure if its supposed to go from .4V to 5V or 5V to .4V?

Suspension/Steering / Removing steering wheel center cover
Anybody know how to get the center of the steering wheel off without breaking it. I am going to the JY and i need a new steering wheel but i have never been able to get the center pad off without breaking it.

Body/Appearance/Interior / Rear Window Trim
Well my trim on my rear "windshield" is screwed up, and most of it is missing, I was reading on Nato messageboard and saw a couple threads about how some 88 cars got a "one-piece" trim that is attached to the window. Well i think that is what i have here and my rear window right now is held down from falling out by silicone in the top corners.

I am hoping someone could help me out with a way to replace the trim without having to change the window.

Body/Appearance/Interior / How well do 17x9 Cobra R's fit?
Does anybody have a pic of how 17x9 Cobra R's fit on the front? I have been looking at the wheels on this site and dont know if i want to go with 16x8's or 17x9's in 4 Lug. I need to make sure the front wheels will not stick out of the wheel well(PA state inspection).

Engine Tech / 75MM TB on a STOCK H.O.?
Only other upgrades were Exhaust, CAI, MAF, UD pulleys, and tuning the timing and fuel pressure.  Gained 30 peak RWHP at 4700 RPM with a 43 RWHP gain at 5100 RPM's .

I always have been told 75MM TB is way too big for a stock engine, but these results seem to disagree.

Lounge / 89 Sport Coupe
I have the opportunity to buy an 89 sport coupe(it says sport coupe on the body but didnt they only come with a 3.8 or the 3.8SC?) for $500. I havent seen it personally but my brother looked at it and said it had some rust on the bottom of one door but he didnt really look too hard at it. I know everybody says the interior is py but other than that what do you guys think? Should i go for it or not? I know it runs and drives cause the only reason they are selling is cause they had another car given to them as payment for work and decided to drive it instead. I cant decide what to do. I think i will go look at it atleast.

Ok I know there was a thread before but i figured i would put this up just in case some newcomers needed a couple tips. If its worthless then feel free to delete it.

When you click Post Reply you will get the reply screen and if you scroll down a little you will see the Manage Attachments button which i made a py arrow pointing towards.



Now when you click that you get a popup that opens up like below.


Then you browse for the picture on the hard drive and select it and hit upload. Then finish your post and hit post reply. Well i hope this helps somebody.

I got this spoiler off an Mn12 at the junkyard when I got all my other parts the other day. It kind of bows in the middle but if I put the holes a little closer it will eliminate the bow in the middle for the most part. One problem is the brake light in the spoiler doesnt work and PA state law says if the light is there it has to work for inspection so I think I will just fill in the hole from the light with expandable foam and then sand it and bondo it nice and smooth before I paint it. So I put it on with some play dough to see how it would look but I am not sure.
So i am asking your opinions, should i put the spoiler on or leave it off?

General Computer Forum / Symptoms of bad CPU?
Ok well Im trying to build a media center pc with the following components:

MSI 945GM2-FH MOBO
Kingston Valueram 512MBx2 PC5300 DDR2 ram
Intel pentium D 820 2.8Ghz CPU
Maxtor 200GB SATA HD
Antec Fusion Case

Well i had problems the first time i tried and i RMA'd the mobo and the ram. well when i got it back it was better than the first time but it still wont install windows. It will reboot and go to the windows screen and even get to the installation once in a while but it will always reboot before installing windows. I know the mobo doesnt require any SATA drivers because the MSI tech said not to try to install any drivers cause it formats the SATA as IDE.
SO the real question is could this all be a sign of a bad CPU? When i got it from ebay it said new in box and when it got here it was open when i asked the seller he said he took it out to test it. I tried 1 stick of ram in the #1 dimm with no change between either stick.
I am getting irritated i have tried everything and always get the same results. I even tried installing Vista and it wouldnt work. I am about to just buy a new CPU and try it, but i dont want to if i dont have to.
