Hey everyone im planning on getting some money together for my 460 build so i need to sell a lot of my 302 parts. I have 2 blocks one is a 1972 and the other is from the 80s that is a roller block.
Ive got a roller lifter set with the spyder.
i have a flat tappet lifter set
harmonic balancers.
etc.....

Hey everyone im putting a new engine into my thunderbird and its going to have a carb. now i know i have to put a different fuel pump in it for lower fuel pressure but what do i do for the kickdown cable on the aod trans?
Hello everyone I just took off the cylinder heads on my 460 and the left bank of cylinders has some pretty sever rust in them. Now I would really like to save this block and build it up. I bought some loctite naval jelly to see if this does anything. does anybody have any suggestions? If it is necessary i would get it bored but would boring save it?
Hey everyone. I just recently picked up a 460 big block that needs a rebuild. I just got the sucker on the stand and is ready to be torn down.
Now does anyone know the bore size of this engine? And does anyone know how to wake these engines up a little bit? Its a 1984 460 out of a f250 btw. Thank you :)
Hey everyone im very new to forced induction and I would like to install a turbocharger in my 2.3 ranger. Now I know I need forged pistons new injectors a new fuel pump and a turbocharger with the header but is there anything else? thank you
Hey everybody recently I ran across a thunderbird for sale and has been for sale for almost a year now. The body is really clean with no dents at all. It would need a paint job but there is virtually no rust on this car. The engine is 3.8 and if you know me well enough I will be swapping in a v8 if it runs or not. The guy is asking 1000$ i think its a little steep but tell me what you all think.
I have a 97 ranger that I am making into a drag truck and i was just wondering if anyone had a diagram or some information about wiring a drag car. The engine is going to have a carb. The only thing that im going to need to hook up is the starter, lights( front,rear,turn signals) inline fuel pump, and gauges (temp,vacuum,oil psi, mph, tach, volts, and fuel). If anyone has any information at all please tell me. All the original wiring is currently in the car if that helps any.
It was a nice day today and me and my Girlfriend decided to go to the park and while i was there the bird was looking way too pretty for me to not take a picture.
My 74 302 block is gettin ready to go to the machine shop and be bored 30 over to 306 and im going to be ordering all of the parts for it soon and I was wondering what a good rough sounding cam would be. It isnt a roller block so it will be a flat tappet cam. I want a real nice choppy cam. And another question is that i have a 88 Thunderbird with a 5.0 SO in it and would a ford racing e303 cam be able to clear the pistons
Hey everyone I have a question about a engine block i just recently picked up. The cylinders look pretty clean and everything looks like its ready to rebuild except its a little dirty inside the block. I don't want to have to pay for machining if i don't have to so give me your opinion i will post pictures if needed thank you all.:D
Hey guys I was kind of wondering about wjat ford intended our birds and cats to be. I think ford classified these cars as luxury but I honestly do not think that these cars are primarily luxury. They have the fox body platform and are extremely upgradable and ford also attempted to make a sporty version (turbo coupe) which I think should have been a gt version of this car with atleast an H.O engine. I think the fox thunderbirds are more of muscle than anything else. They have the old taillights which represent how muscle cars are and they are beefy looking. But anyways I would like to know what you would classify these thunderbirds as if you made the desicion and what would you change about how ford made them?
