Rust free and clean. 86 V6 car with cheap wheels. Guy says $4000 is his bottom dollar. I'm thinking more like 3k.

What do y'all think?

Is that a factory paint option for '86 Thunderbirds?

No, he had the bottom painted to "spruce it up".

X2, usually smoothed bond right over the rust holes.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Sharp looking car, the bottoms of the doors look good.  Would have to look it over good first and check for rust other places.

I've lived in MI my whole life, except the four years I spent in the service, I won't be a victim of that BS. I pretty much buy all my cars down south but there are exceptions. Check out my 03 Super Duty I bought in Dallas...

I saw his add before. He first wanted $2900. That's a pretty good mark up for some paint.

It took me two years to find the right cougar, could the underbody paint really justify $1,100 price jump? X

Yep, David Rice. He emailed me back and said he was FIRM on the new price. I replied to him and said basically that was quite a jump for a little paint and possibly new tires. He didn't reply back and I've since deleted that email.
