T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars FOR SALE / Someone Give them a good home.....
88 XR-7 5.0L V8 Auto, PS, PB, AC, PW, cruise,Tinted windows, Leather front seats (driver side 6-way power) Pioneer CD/MP3 player, Stoufer GST body kit and rear spoiler, Many suspension and brake upgrades including: Koni struts and springs in front, Brakes upgraded from 10” disc to 11” disk in front/10” rear drum brakes. Tires: 235x60x15 front/275x50x15 rear, Some minor engine modifications. AOD is bad. Lost 3rd and 4th gears.
 
86 XR-7 2.3L turbo factory 5speed, PS, PB, has some rust easily repairable. VERY clean underneath. Has an ignition issue right now, not getting spark. Many spare parts including IHI turbo and computers and Ground effects kit included.
Car is not running needs distributer module.
 
$700 total for both. I need to have them sold by Saturday. If I can't sell them by then they go to the junk yard.
 
Please give my cats a good home.

Miscellaneous For Sale/Wanted / ATTN: Guitarists.....
With only a month before I catch a plane to the land down under, I see there is no way I get all of my guitars there without spending a fortune. So one of the three has to go.

I am selling my Epiphone Dot Studio.

This is an all Maple guitar with a set neck and a solid block running through the cnter of the body just like Gibson's 335 series. It's red with black binding and hardware. It is an excellent playing guitar and has a very mellow, sweet, warm sound clean. And with some overdrive the humbuckers give it a gritty edge.

I bought it new just a few months ago. It can be yours for just $250 plus shipping.

Lounge / Having trouble with your holiday bird?
A young man named John received a parrot as an early holiday gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary. Every word out of the bird's mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity. John tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else he could think of to 'clean up' the bird's vocabulary.


Finally, John was fed up and he yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back. John shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even ruder. John, in desperation, threw up his hands, grabbed the bird and shoved him in the freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed. Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep was heard for over a minute. Fearing that he'd hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the freezer.


The parrot calmly stepped out onto John's outstretched arms and said 'I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions. I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior'.


John was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude. As he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, the bird continued.... ........'May I inquire as to what the turkey did?'

Audio & Other Aftermarket Electronics / Accessory wire color?
Had my DVD player stolen a few weeks ago (they sorta succeded this time) now I'm installing a new MP3/CD player.
 
I'm trying to figure out which wire in the factory harness is the accessory wire that powers the stereo. (every thing in the dash was yanked out and now I'm sorting the spaghetti)
 
Anyone know right off hand?

Suspension/Steering / TC Front brakes
I'm doing a total overhaul on the front end and I've switched to '88 TC spindles, discs and calipers. everything went together nicely until I realised I was missing the caliper pin sleeves and the spring clips for the pads. NAPA, AutoZone, and even the Ford dealer are out of stock.
 
Does anyone know of anyone who still carries these? Makes them? Or maybe has an extra set?
 
I know they are the same parts as the Mustang GT but no one has those either. Am I SOL?

T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars WANTED / 87-88 TC 8.8 needed....
My next project on Eliminator is swapping the rear for a TC 8.8 with discs. So I'm gonna need one to swap in. Would prefer one from an Auto trans (3.45 gears) but I can live with other ratios.

Lounge / Blissfully depressed.....
So, no shiznit, there I was, sitting in Bob Evans in Mason, WV having breakfast with my son and his fiance'. Christopher says, "We got something to show you." JoAnn starts digging in her purse and comes up with two pieces of paper and shoves them in front of me.

I'm lookin' and I'm thinkin', "Ok... Dopplar weather radar... Are you trying to tell me that it's a bad idea to go to the movies because it might rain?"

I look at them and they're grinning ear to ear and then some and on the virge of jittering right out of their chairs.

"Something tells me this ain't Dopplar radar."

I look again and it starts to become clear what I'm looking at. Especially with the little lines tagged "Head" and "Rump".

I'm looking at sonograms.

In 7 months I'm gonna be a grandfather.

Christ, I feel suddenly 20 years older.

Very happy for them.

But 20 yrs older.
 
BTW: It's twins. :D
