87-88 TC 8.8 needed....

My next project on Eliminator is swapping the rear for a TC 8.8 with discs. So I'm gonna need one to swap in. Would prefer one from an Auto trans (3.45 gears) but I can live with other ratios.

I'm in Columbus,OH.

Uhmm,

The auto cars came with 3:73's and the 5 speed cars came with 3:55's.  I have one of each, but I'm in Nebraska.
88 TC 5speed, 168000+ miles, stock 2.3T long block, ported RFE6 exhaust, Evergreen T3 running 15#'s.

It would help if you listed your location. I have a 3.55 Disc Brake T-Lok from an 88 in SE Minnesota, if that helps....

Why are so many ( nearly all) of you members so far north?

Enjoy your hurricanes. :flip:

We've had exactly ONE since I moved here in 1961... That was Isabel in '03 and it was just a good category one... Raised a bit of hell though... There was more damage in Ark, Ind, Ohio etc from Ike than we have ever seen... My friend Keith near Alliance lost nine trees on his property...

All we ever get from hurricanes is rain coming up from Texas.Nothing too bad.We just get WICKED heat and humidty in the summer.110 degrees,90% humidty.Yuk.

By the way,I'm glad we don't have "rust buckets" down here. It's nice to have sold cars to grab parts from,or in my case, rebuild from a salvage yard.

Hey Mayhem, I am in SE Minnesota, but I will be going to Chicago for a wedding in two weeks. I was planning on driving the wife's T-bird because of gas mileage, but if you wanted to meet 1/2 way (roughly), I'd drive my truck and bring the rear end along. No problem either way. Thanks, Mike.
