Yeah it would.  The show last night where they did that handicapped guy's Mustang was sweet.  That car was badass when they were done with it.  I could only imagine what they could do to one of our fox-bodies.

I would say they would ruin it with 20'' wheels and three-tone paint if I had to guess. :D  I think I would be nervous about turning Chip Foose loose (hey that rhymes) on my car.  It probably would come out nothing like I would want.  Some of the cars on Overhaulin' come out pretty cool but others (like that Challenger they did) are ruined in my opinon.  And why do they always put a Chevy motor in every GM car.  It would be so much cooler if they focused more on the powertrain of the car than the paint and interior.  Oh well its still entertaining though!

He focuses on the car as a whole.. I've seen some episodes where the Engine was his main focus.. and he's referred to the "jewellery box" many times.. where you open the hood, like a jewellery box, and the engine is the Gem inside.

Also, having a cougar / bird on overhaulin' would definitely raise awareness our cars, and make it more popular. Although, I agree, i have specific plans for my Cougar, I wouldn't want foose to touch it, I would LOVE to see what his creativity can to do one of these cars.

I agree with baXo, I'd rather do what I want to my car myself, but I'm sure he could make a fox look cool as hell.

Considering my car needs a rear end, though, I'm pretty sure I'd let foose 'Burger King' it, do it his way. Getting your car fixed up for free is always cool.

Cost, probably. My friend is going to have to do this to his 80s Cutlass, because Chevy engines seem to be a lot cheaper than the "BOP" equivalents. He's not happy about it, but none of us are made of money so we can't afford to be too picky sometimes.

i would love my car done but my truck is for me to do. i have no real ideas for my car other than a new paint job but my truck has been in planning for as long as i've owned it. besides they would probably do something stupid with my truck like take out the 6 and make it no longer able to carry stuff in the bed.

I seen that one too, first thing I spotted in the background.  Also in a couple of the episodes if you look Chip has his highly customized new age bird parked out there too, I'm not one for the newer style birds, but his don't look half bad with the chopped windshield and all.
