quick question

ok 86 3.8 tbi had a vac leak for a long time i could tell cause pcv valve had no vac and i got oil shooting (slowly) into the air filter.

sorry heres the question:

is the tbi assembly supposed to have a gasket around it to seal vacc in the air filter housing? Cause it looks like there should be one there and when i made a temporary cardboard one for it and started her up the pcv had vacspoogee again. weird. well im only asking because in my haynes manuel it doesnt say anything about a gasket there. k thanks.
