I have a descent set, I actually have two and a half sets. I have them listed on craigslist for $40.00 each or $75.00 a pair. Plus whatever shipping would be. I had a guy in Tx. interested but like many of us money got tight and wasn't able to buy them. Shipping to him was going to be $20-$25. I shipped from where I worked, I'm laid off now but the shop is still open, if you're interested I can see if they can still ship for me. Plus I can get picks for you.
Well, I am slowly trying to build a show car so the nicer the shape the better. As far as they go, 87 or 88 for me. Not sure of the other stuff but I am sure someone will chime in soon. And thanks for checking it out for me.
Ok, I am gonna try this one more time. I am in desperate need of a set of taillights for my 88 Bird. If you have some or know someone who has them, please help me out. Thanks all.
Good find. I found one in my local yard. They weighed it with the tire and wanted to charge s price for it plus 10% which at the time was like $15. Still not bad but I'm still looking. lol. And yeah, polish it.
Hey all. Just wondering if there is any way to make a set of tail lights from an 86 work on an 88. I know 87's and 88's are different but not sure how. Thanks for the help.
Ok. Thanks guys. I just found out that it was a mazda unit. Did the whole wilkepedia thing and read the history. I'll just hold out for now. Even if it did fit, I am going for more than a couple hundred hp in the long run. Don't want to have to do it twice. lol
Hi guys. Just had a quick question for you all. I found a 91 SC in my local yard. It has the 5 speed with the supercharged v6 of coarse. Can I use the parts to swap the auto out of my 88 bird? This is the closest I have come so far to finding something to work so please help me out guys...
Hey all. Just wondering if anyone can give any info on the old school air shocks. I want to get a set for the back of my 88 bird. I am looking for the kind that has the remote mounted shrader valve to adjust them. Part numbers would be a big help too. Thanks all.
I'll get some more pics up tomorrow. And yes, if I flex too much, it doeshiznit the tires. Of coarse, right now, I need shocks and struts so on a good bump, it hits all 4 tires. I got the wheels and tires for a steel at $250 cash and the BFG's were like brand new. The guy ran them for about a month and decided to do the 5 lug swap. My gain. lol. And yeah, they are 60 series. 275/60/15 in the rear and I still have traction problems. lol.
Thanks for the comments guys, keep them coming....
