I dunno, when I got to see and ride in Michael Yount's 5.0 Volvo, it really was AWESOME.  And he said the kit for it works really well.

Well I wouldn't go that far.  In the short time I have been looking at these, I have seen MANY much nicer ones.

Mine's a 20-footer that represents much better in the pics.  The paint is pretty good overall, but the clear is peeling in a couple spots.  It looks good going down the road, and the new stance with the slight lowering and the wheels/tires really works for me.

A 5.0 will NEVER see this engine bay.  Are you kidding?  It will probably remain Volvo-powered, with at the very least an upgrade to MegaSquirt to get rid of the mechanical fuel injection (K-Jetronic).  It's a light car though (2800-2900#).

It is just a driver for me though, so while it will see a lot of chassis/suspension/brake improvements, I don't see the need for mucho power out of it.

That car is the epitome of shagy..lol
The Stang wheels imo set it off nicely.
One other thing...does it apper to anyone else, with a quick glance at the grille and headlights to somewhat resemble an 85 or so Capri?
I just noticed that...maybe the 4-eye bug has bit me.
Time will tell if THAT rumor is indeed true or not...

Anyway, looks awesome Chuck, as always, kudos.

Did your adapters change the bolt pattern as well? I'd always thought Volvos used the 5-on-4.25" pattern, same as MN12's...

Nope, sure aint.  It'd make for an awesome, well balanced track car :D .  I've experienced it in person!  Could you imagine the look on peoples' faces when you start it up and it has the sound of a built 5.0?

Haha, I'm just kidding as far as thinking that YOU would do it.  But me?  I'd do it in a heartbeat.

are you going to run it without the caps on the wheels or was that just for the pictures?  I know they have the pony on them but honestly you cant see the pony unless you get real close and you called it a 20 footer so..?
