T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars FOR SALE / For sale: 1988 Cougar LS
Due to storage issues that will be upon me sooner or later, I need to move my 1988 Cougar LS.  It has the 3.8 liter V6.

It has 106,00 miles, runs very well, looks great and has an interior that is in phenomenal condition.  I am not a mechanic, so I won't be able to provide a lot of intricate detail, but I'll do what I can.

This is a well-optioned car, with power windows, power driver's seat and the like.  Everything works.

The Cougar has a slow fluid leak that I think may be from the transmission, but I'm not really sure.

On each side, just in front of the rear wheelwell, small spots of rust appear to be bubbling under the paint.  It was originally purchased in New Jersey, but has been in the North Texas area for several years.

I am not under any immediate pressure to sell the car, and I am hoping for it to land in the hands of someone who will preserve it.  Asking $1500.00.

I will do my best to answer any questions, so fire away.  Thanks for looking.

Misc Tech / Ten-holes question
Pardon me if this question seems too stupid, but I must ask it:

Will ten-hole wheels fit on a six-cylinder car that came with a set of the cheapy base wheels?

I would like to put the old wheels and the whitewalls that are on them in storage, since the ten-holes make for a more attractive and sporting look.

General Fox T-Bird/Cougar Discussion / floor mats
I have done some looking on the internet for floor mats made specifically for our cars and which have the Cougar head logo, but so far I have not found any.  I bought such a set for my Capri a few years ago, and they look great.  I would therefore really like to find such mats for the Cougar as well.  Does anyone know where to get such a thing?

General Fox T-Bird/Cougar Discussion / newbie - '88 Cougar
New guy here.  I picked up this nice '88 Cougar a few months ago.  It has just over 100,000 miles on it, but you would never guess it.  It doesn't have one of the snazzy engines, but it is still a nice example of the breed.
